What an intriguing history our capital city has. We heard some of the darker stories of the 1980s that occurred in Fortitude Valley. Crime, corruption and murder! What's not to like. Our guide was knowledgeable on the subject and was able to answer questions posed by the group. Looking forward to signing up for another tour in the series in the near future.

I thoroughly enjoyed this tour. The information was really interesting and at the right level to inform but not overwhelm the audience (even our teenager maintained interest!). The guide was really engaging and clearly enjoyed sharing the stories. I loved that she suggested online resources if we were interested in digging deeper into any of the stories.

Another great tour! Sam and Jack did an awesome job. It was great learning more about the crimes in Brisbane- very interesting. One suggestion - the traffic is very distracting given it’s in the main part of fortitude valley - it may be beneficial to try and find corners really out of the way so everyone can hear the speaker. Other than that, we had a great time!

Very pleased we booked this tour, hosted by fabulous tour guide - Molly. Enjoyed being able to view photos and news articles of the time while at the different sites. Molly was very knowledgeable, well spoken, funny and friendly. She answered our questions and pointed out areas that may be of further interest to us.

i absolutely loved this tour. the level of detail that went into the stories of Fortitude Valley’s shady past was incredible. our tour guide molly made it such an immersive experience, showing us photographs of people, buildings and signage and even old video footage from the era, which helped in understanding the wider context of what was happening in Fortitude Valley in the 70s and 80s. I felt like i was transported into a different time and seeing the Valley through a whole new set of eyes! We all had a few laughs at various points of the tour but Molly was very respectful when it came to the victims of the crimes we were hearing about. You can tell that she cares about the stories she is telling. Overall, Molly was an excellent speaker and her story telling was cohesive and captivating and kept us wanting to know more. A lot of effort went into research of this tour, which i appreciate as someone who has a passion for Brisbane’s history. My Dad and i had a wonderful time and are looking forward to going on another one of your tours!

Very poised and knowledgeable Guide. Molly was very professional. Very interesting histories, but I would maybe suggest just a little less detail on each crime scene and perhaps a couple of extra stops on the guide instead. Very informative though and a worthwhile afternoon! We'll see you at a ghost tour.

I went on this tour with my daughter never done something like this before. Our tour guide Molly did a fantastic job, she went into great detail about the criminal going ons of the era. She was well spoken and passionate about the stories she told. Definitely recommend to everyone tourists and locals - I was a valley regular in the late 80s and still learned so many new facts about that time. A well researched, well presented tour

This tour was excellent. We went on this as a birthday present for a member of our group who is a crime buff. This was very interesting as we toured the sites of old illegal casinos, brothels and the sites of unsolved murders and bombing. The pace of the tour was good and although there was walking it was not taxing. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and gave us a lot of back story behind the crimes. If you are interested in some of the dark history of Brisbane I would recommend this tour.

What a fabulous tour! Being a local, I knew a lot about the events, but to get so much of the background story was a real treat. Our guide was amazing; she really explained the stories so well. (Not just repeating a rehearsed script!). If you have any interest in the what The Valley was like in the 80's, I'm sure you will enjoy this tour.
