We had a great time on this trip. Our guide Sandra spoke excellent English, was knowledgeable, engaging and funny. She accommodated our request for a specific lunch stop while we’re in Tomar. All the stops were beautiful, and having a guide really helped us understand what we were seeing. We came for the art history. Sandra showed us many details in the tombs and architecture that we probably would have overlooked visiting on our own. I highly recommend.

Sandra is a great guide and wonderful companion for this tour. Her love of history and Portugal shine through. She answered our so many questions and provided great recommendations for our time in Portugal. It's a first rate tour and a great way to see these 3 stunning monasteries in one day. You will never see a church or monastery the same after all the knowledge she shares with you. A welcoming host, Sandra puts you at ease from the moment you say hello to the end of the day. If you even considering this tour, please do it. You won't regret it.

The Monasteries Tour with Sandra was amazing. She paid attention to every detail and was such a good tour guide. I really enjoyed all the sights and Sandra made them come to life with details I would not have known on my own. She even gave us excellent lunch recommendations. It was so nice to be transported in a luxurious car without the hassle of figuring out how to get to the sights. I would book another tour with her the next time I am in Lisbon!

Great day from Lisbon to the Monasteries, Sandra was great! Very knowledgable, passionate, and a fun tour guide! She shared tons of history, facts, and stories and was happy to thoroughly answer all our questions. The whole day was very relaxing, starting with a welcome at our own doorstep to front door drop-off. Would book again :)

My favorite part of this tour was SANDRA, our guide who was as informative as a historian who had researched these sacred places and their many facets. I am descended from a number of monarchs whose sarcophagi lie at Batalaha and Alcobaca. Sandra’s tour was peppered with interesting facts and fascinating back stories that I would never have heard. She answered all of my questions and shed light on both dark and memorable events in Portuguese history. I highly recommend Sandra to anyone looking for an outstanding tour guide.

My husband and I spent 2 magical days on tours with Sandra and Luis from Lisbon…Sandra to the monasteries and Luis to Sintra. Truly a highlight of our 2 weeks in Portugal. Both guides are not only engaging and vibrant but posses deep historical knowledge. Can’t wait to come back and will be booking more tours with “No Map”
