We had a great trip with Vlad! He was so conscientious to spend time with each and every one of us on the trip. He was SO easy to work with and kind. He even encourage us to drop our shoes and sox to get some much needed direct contact with the earth. Lovely trip. Do wish we had taken 30 planned minutes somewhere where we could eat the lunch we purchased at the store on the trip. Was a beautiful day, beautiful weather and beautiful scenery!

This tour was just what we were hoping it would be! This was a small group (5 travelers total) in a mini van in October. We were picked up at our hotel and Vlad was our guide and he was very personable and knowledgeable about the area. We stopped at some scenic spots before we got into the national park. Once in the park Vlad stopped at some beautiful spots for us to see the forest, waterfalls, and gorgeous views of Mt Rainier. We happened to have perfect clear day so the views were amazing. Once we got to the lodge area we had about 2 hrs to explore the area on our own with different trails and a beautiful lodge. Unfortunately the lodge was closed for the season but it was a lovely spot to eat our lunch... sandwiches/snacks that we bought at a previous stop. I highly recommend this if you want a smaller group and personal experience from your guide. It is an all day experience... We were picked up around 9am and got back to our hotel around 7:30.
