A Nice tour. Beautiful walk through the woods especially since we were the only peoplein the park at 0900. I wished that Viator used only one avenue for communication. I found it a little confusing when they used email, text or whatsapp to send me messages. Our stop in Salsileto was to early, most places weren't serving lunch yet. A side trip to Muir beach might be a nice add on in the future.

There was static on the intercom in the back of the bus so could not understand the guide very well. Might have been combination of the static and his accent. Very informative though and nice and helpful. Also Viator sent too many emails and messages; some of these had no content.

Bus driver was amazing. Super great driver, easy to understand and very informative. Highly recommend!

I loved being able to see the must-see spots in San Francisco without the stress of planning myself & having a knowledgeable, friendly guide to provide commentary along the way. Joe was wonderful

Kenneth was oustanding as our guide! Went out of his way to answer questions and assist. Terrific knowledge of Muir Woods and knew answers and expounded on our queries.

Solo traveller wanting to see Muir woods. I found the admin side of this company very strange- I was booked for the PM tour and they moved me to the AM tour instead which was fine. But I was then told 4 different pick up times and turns out the new tour wasn’t even with this company it was with their sister company ‘Greyhound’ (which they failed to tell me). The tour with Greyhound was actually really good and I would highly recommend this tour- just don’t book through Extranomical- go straight to greyhound and you’ll have a great morning out.

Tony was a great tour guide and expert driver! He provided some really great stories and jokes along the way!

They cancelled the tour the day before! No reason either. Of course all other companies were booked! Then took a while to refund money. Save yourself the hassle of a tour company bailing at the last minute- and save money!!- take the bus to pier 39 and then take the ferry over to Sausalito yourself and use the shuttle bus to Muir from there. Ferry is like $14 and shuttle is $4-5. Then you aren’t on a schedule either! You have to book a shuttle in advance but this way is waaaaay cheaper and they won’t cancel on you!

Overnight and long layover in San Francisco. Definitely did not want to spend the day in the city. Was very happy that I could book the afternoon tour of Muir Woods and Sausalito a few hours before it began. They called me straight away to confirm and also helped me on the phone find the pick up spot which was obscure, no street number and no tour signage at the Hilton Hotel, Union Square location. Dustin was our tour guide, and he was very laid back, informative and very caring towards his tourists, as well as friendly and chatty with his guests. It was fantastic to just sit back and relax and not have anything to worry about , since I had just experienced exhausting travel delays. Great experience being with the trees, getting an ice cream in Sausalito and driving around San Francisco. Dustin was very generous with his restaurant recommendations, even offering to text a spreadsheet of them!

The actual tour and our guide Randall were fantastic. Randall was very personable and knowledgeable. We had plenty of time in Muir woods and Sausalito. Take the ferry back if you are not in a rush and head down to Fort Baker for a magnificent view of the Golden Gate Bridge, especially if it was foggy in the morning. The whole booking process was horrendous. We had two different pick up places, three different times in three different emails and five different texts. That part needs to be smoothed out.
