Inside this huge beer brewery the Nazi party was founded, the Hitler-Ludendorf putsch took off on the 9th of November 1923 to be followed by an attempt to kill Hitler that failed 16 years later

Old Town Hall

Here Hitler and Goebbels ordered the "night of the broken glass" on teh 9th of November 1938.

Feldherrnhalle

The Hitler-Ludendorf putsch was stopped here bloddily in 1923. Ten years later it became a place of commemoration for the Nazis.

Ludwig Maximilian University

The Scholl sibblings devided flzers opposing the Nazi regime and were put on trial to be executed.

Konigsplatz

On Königsplatz the Nazis commemorated the ill fated putsch of 1923. Nearby is the so called Führerbau (building of the Führer), where the Munich Conference took place in 1938 and the former party registry
