Awesome museum, very interesting. You can buy tickets at the door for same price, not sure if pre-booking saved any time. But definitely a fun self guided tour!

Astonishing selection of shoes made by Ferragamo. His clients included some very famous women, their named shoe lasts were shown alongside his tools. The range and diversity of work on these shoes were incredible. My husband is an engineer and even he was fascinated by the construction that goes into these shoes. Ranged from 1930s - 1960s. So interesting! And the bathrooms were at the same level of luxury!

Looking at the shoes & learning how they were created. My granddaughters & I visited Italy together. We enjoyed learning from Ferragamo.

Fascinating contemporary history and a fitting tribute to a craftsman. Ferragamo combined art and science to create stunning, comfortable shoes for his clientele, including movie stars and royalty. A display with an amazing variety of designs and materials - from gold to cellophane. The information, artefacts and images captured his creativity and adaptability in a most effective way.

The museum is ok, is more of about the finder’s life (Wada F.) The tickets was $30 is free for senior and $10 at the door. Is 👌

My husband wanted to go to this museum because his family was in the shoe business. We all loved it. It is really a tribute more to Ferragamo's wife, who took over the business when he died. But they not only have shoes and beautiful clothing displayed - they also have items from the 50s and 60s, such as a teenage's girls typical bedroom back then, etc. On the way home to the States, I happened upon a documentary on the airplane about Ferragamo's life, which was equally fascinating.

Only cared to see one room - the one with the shoes and clothes. It was closed as they were changing the exhibit. This wasn’t shared when I purchased two tickets for 16 Euros. I was told they would finish later and I could come back later in the day and they close at 19:30. Website also says closing is 19:30. I arrived at 19:15 to be told they closed at 19:00. Dear Ferragamo, how do I get the money back I wasted.

I was expecting to see more of the fashion pieces. This exhibition was quite interesting focusing on the history of women. I made the best of it and found nuggets of inspiration.

Disappointing. My expectation was to see their history of superior design and fashion as told through shoes, handbags and clothing. We are in Italy, after all. What I got was a schooling in feminism, inclusivity and diversity with little to no fashion. . Weirdly, I had booked two tickets in advanced. Paid $39,00. The tickets were cancelled, refunded three days earlier with no explanation. I ended up there by happenstance while wandering Florence. Walked in and paid $8.00 at the door. I’ve had three bad ticket experiences with Viator this trip. Rethinking buying thru Viator.

To see in Florence, very nice, a pleasant moment, in the basement of the beautiful boutique. A beautiful exhibition of the history of this great shoe designer.
