When purchasing tickets for the MOIC in Austin, they added about $60 in fees for purchasing tickets. The price of $25 is already a bit steep but I was willing to pay that. Why are so many fees added? Next, there is an overload of pink everywhere. Why? The ice cream is nothing to rave about. Yes, you can eat as much as you want but it was just ok. Also, it was interesting that they have a room full of bananas hanging from the ceiling before entering another room so one might expect to have banana splits coming up... nope! Just another scoop of ice cream in a small cup. Wow! Not an experience to get excited about. We tried it once but never again. My recommendation to anyone reading this would be save your money, unless you have money to throw out the window! That's the way I looked at it after the visit. I can't take my money with me when I die so might as well waste it on the MOIC. Oh, well...

Our visit to the Ice Cream Museum in Austin was absolutely delightful! Every flavor was a treat to taste, especially the pink vanilla, which was perfectly sweet. A special shout-out to Granny, the photographer master, who truly made our day unforgettable. She was incredibly kind and fun, teaching us various poses and making the whole experience enjoyable!!!! Thank you, Granny<33 If you're in Austin, don't miss this sweet adventure—it's a perfect outing for all ages!

Defintiely a big disappointment. 1st off so much for the scheduled 3:30 times ticket - we go in about 1 hour later..... tough to entertain a 2 yo and a 4yo for an hour when they are expecting ice cream ! The waiting area quite small, not sure what the plan was - not really a soda fountain, not a bar, some items available for purchase $$ but all we anxiously awaiting their turn. Entry in groups of about 8-12. There was 3 areas with ice cream, 1 with cotton candy..some games for kids but not really presented as a kids amusement location. The ice lacked much taste also. The final stop was the pool of plastic sprinkles, the kids had fun like they would in a playground. The cost $$ far outweighed the event. Kinda boring for adults, nothing like a Hershey visit or Turkey Hill Ice cream experience ( lancaster Pa ). Other than 1 hidden wall board about the history of the banana spilt, nothing, nothing nothing was to be perceived as a " museum " Overall, not worth it by far

They are vague on the website for a reason. This is NOT a museum. I was hoping to see actual machines making ice cream, learn of the history of ice cream, areas showing how it is made, letting the kids participate in the process. It is NONE of that. It is a pink party place with a few fun party theme rooms. It would be fun for a girl, age 9 or younger. It is NOT worth the price of admission. It would be a fair value at $10, $15 tops. The "unlimited" ice cream is a very small serving of a small selection of ice cream in several of the rooms. Twice the choice was between only 2 flavors. The variety was 1 gelato flavor, 1 sorbet flavor, 2 soft serve flavors and maybe 8 ice cream flavors (Blue Bell ice cream--they don't even make their own ice cream and there is none made on the premises). Very overpriced and misleading. Even though it was way overpriced, I didn't rate it 1 star because our granddaughter, who is 8, had fun.

We had a lot of fun! The museum had a fun, festive atmosphere. The ice cream samplings were tasty. The decor is wonderful especially for all those pink lovers out there!

Our son got into making ice cream, so when we saw there was an ice cream museum, promising some insights into the history of ice cream, we were super excited. However, it’s not really a museum. The place is more a collection of background drops, and in my opinion, not really good ones. It seemed fun, but really quite small and the activities were not very engaging. I don’t think it was worth the money.

This is such a darling place! The girls really play it up fantastically, making it lots of fun! I'd definitely do it again.

I had an absolutely great time here. The ice cream was yummy, the exhibits were fun and colourful, but the staff were so friendly and absolutely made it the best experience. Thanks to them all !! :) I would totally recommend going.

First, know it is not a museum. It is a fun place for pictures, constant supply of ice cream, and a place for the kids, and, adults to be a kid.
