The space center is definitely worth the visit! Our guide was very knowledgeable and welcoming. Thanks!

The bus trip was quite good The driver (Yolanda) out and back to the space centre was fabulous The reason for only a 3 though is By the time we got there the included tram trips were booked out which was very disappointing. Knowing we had bought the tickets in advance we would have expected to have had our tram trips booked so we didn’t miss out 4.5 hours is a very long time to be stuck there with no tram tours

So much history. The visitors center has a tremendous amount of material, mostly to read. Take both of the tours. You need to sign up for the Mission Control tour, which is separate from the rocket tour which is included with the general admission. Lots of walking. Brings back memories about sitting in front of the tv waiting for the lunar module to land. Walk the Saturn V rocket to see how so many people collaborated to put men on the moon. The movies are great and run many times throughout the day, especially the through an astronauts eyes. Good food at the cafe, order at the kiosks and pick the food up at the different stations. Try the corned beef sandwich, called the smuggler, patterned after an astronaut who smuggled one on board a launch. Tour the 747 which transported the space shuttle. Again, lots of walking but SO worth it. I’m still in awe.

You don't understand the scale of the Saturn 5 rocket until you stand next to it. The smallest of the three stages is huge!

We went to the space centre on an organised trip, the weather was awful and got soaked on the trip around the space centre/town. I done the 3d ride into space you had to pay extra for this but it was totally worth it, great experience. There were a few talks on aspects of space life but some were at the same time so we didn’t get round them all due to being on an organised trip.

Interesting for all ages. There is a lot to see, the trips out to the other areas are free but spaces fill up quickly. We paid to go to the historic control room which was interesting but once again remember to book your tickets early. The cafeteria is overpriced. Everything is paid through credit/debit card which is a little pricey if you don't have an American bank account.

This company did bare minimum on the tour. A 5-10K downtown run occurs every year and we ended up having to change plans to start with the NASA tour. We arrived at the NASA complex and were informed tickets were sold out 2 weeks ago for the tram tour. We only could see the small exhibits in the main area and the space shuttle. That was all of 30 minutes and wouldn't be picked up for another 3.5 hours. We ended up having a friend pick us up . We felt like we could have done this to ourselves. The tour tried to offer a "Complimentary City Tour" next day but they must have not realized Houston was hosting the National Championship Bowl Game. A majority of the town has been shut down since Friday Plus, they almost canceled our tour altogether due to the race..no awareness of what's going on in the city. Overall, due to the piss poor planning and lack of awareness of city events that could impact our trip experience. The tour company did not offer a tour refund I will be asking for a full refund.

Team went out of their way to make a rain morning a fantastic city tour. Drivers of city tour and then shuttle to space centers were great

Unfortunately the way this tour is structured means you see the city in the morning and by the time you get to the Space Centre (around 12:15pm) and start lining up in queues that are 100m long, the only part of the space centre you can tour is the space park which houses 2 old rusted rocket relics and one big old Spaceship in a shed. Very underwhelming for the effort and cost. The space training facility tours which apparently are the highlight of the Johnson Space Centre get booked out super early - so by the time you arrive you’re out of luck and your only option is to view the boring space park which you line up for around 1hr for. I’m dumbfounded why this tour isn’t reconfigured so the space centre was in the morning and city tour in the afternoon.

Madelyn J

We really enjoyed the space centre. Coming from Australia is was great to see all the displays and learn so much we didn’t previously know.
