as my booking was scheduled for the next trip I asked the driver if he would've had seats available...with an almost empty coach he said on a sharp/rude tone that there're no seats available. when I mentioned that the coach doeas't look that full he said short: 'my coach'... very rude, unprofessional, it's not the way to start a morning, especially when u have a long day ahead...

Excellent way to journey between London and Luton airport. Special mention for Driver Mentor Pat on Wednesday 6/3 at 1530 from Victoria who has the patience of a saint and navigated a road closure on M1 and kept us all informed. Good job.

These buses run chronically late. I had to get an Uber from Luton to Heathrow in the end because the bus was running 30 minutes late. They won’t refund your ticket or take any kind of responsibly.

În the middle of the February on the evening route from London to Manchester the air conditioning was turned up full and was extremely cold in the bus! 😡🥶 Why? I think you are doing in purpose! 🤮. Terrible experience. Not pleasant at all! 😡

Wrong and poor customer service! Poor communication from such a reputable company. I was booking tickets to travel for the first time with National Express to the airport. My coach was booked for 17:10 and left house at 15:00 to male my way to Marble Arch. The location in their email took me to wrong station on the opposite part of the road. A coach driver who I approach was so rude and probably fed up with his work place too and he said to me he doesn't own the company he is just the driver so he refused to even tell me that I was in the wrong station. The coach did not turn up. The online tracker did not work and did not help me in any way. The phone line also did not work. I started panicking as I thought I will be missing on my flight and it was in between Christmas and New Year. I ended up taking an Uber. The bottom line is...NO COMMUNICATION AT ALL...I was not informed at any point that the coach was having delays or anything. For a first time user of the service what do you do???? You loose your trust in the service and do not take a chance to miss on your flight either. When I contacted them afterwards they told me the next service was withing 38 minutes after my scheduled one. Who on Earth would wait there for almost 40 minutes just in case a National Express coach would arrive for you when there is no communication from them? A normal person would never do that. When I approached them about this issue they dealt so rudely with my complaint asking me to even prove that I travelled by uber that day in order for them to give me the money on the coach tickets!!!! Is this normal for such a big company to treat their customers this way??? They made me travel all the way to Marble Arch and pick up an Uber for the city when I could easily do the same thing from home spending less time for travel and being even cheaper than traveling from there to the airport. Unfortunately, I believe that due to the business being so waste, the customer care and consideration is getting forgotten...the money is most important!!!!

In December I booked a ticket from Marble Arch station to Luton Airport and I missed the bus because of the wrong meeting point. As I am not familiar with all the areas in London I have choosen to follow the link provided by National Express in the confirmation email. The map link provided by them took me to a wrong meeting point on a paralel street wich lead to me missing the bus. Unfortunatley the customers service was very slow in replying and not very interested in helping the clients. I advise you to not buy the ticket in advance and specially not with a flexi one, because even if you miss the bus you will not be able to pick up the next one. I ended up paying another ticket, never got refunded from National Express. Luckly every 10-20 minutes there is another bus going to Luton Airport. I went with Green Line and I was able to pay in the bus directly. I will never use or recommend National Express again.

The driver also called Coach Captain needs new training on speaking nicely to the paying passangers.

Told to get off the bus cause they got no more seats. Always being delayed even for the airport. The worst service ever

On the 27 of October, I took the coach nx426 at 07:30 traveling from London Victoria to Newcastle upon Tyne and ended my journey in Leeds (West Yorkshire). Before entering the bus at London Victoria, I had the worst experience ever in my life. I showed the ticket to the driver (which it turned to be the Co-Worker/co-Driver) from my phone, where the Co-worker refused to read the QR code from the machine holding it in his hand and was shouting to me with no reason for that ‘hey, I need your email address to see your ticket number’. I smiled and I said ‘ok Sir, I am stepping aside to find my email while you are loading the other passengers into the bus’. I have started searching my emails and thankfully I found my ticket. I showed to the driver from my phone where the driver snatched the phone from my hand looked at my ticket number and conformed it with me if I was traveling to Leeds, where I nodded with a smirk. The driver handed the phone back to me where I started getting into the bus. As soon as I made the first step into the bus the other co-worker shouted to me (by the way, his name is Michael a guy about 170 cm tall),’ hey don’t you snatch the phone from the driver’s hand’. I stopped looked at the driver and the co-worker (Michael) very confused as I was thinking what is going on…? I did not say anything at all for not making this a scene or soever... So I carried on entering the bus, where again, Michael (this co-driver) started screaming to me ‘hey come back here’ , I stopped again, turned my head again where I so Michael calling me this time using his fingers in a very sarcastic way by keep saying ‘do as I say come back here’. I felt so embarrassed, I felt like I was a dog or his pet, I felt like I was owned by this guy, and I came out the bus and he continued screaming to me and saying ‘do you want to walk home?’ And he kept repeating it several times, ‘do you want to walk home?’. I said ‘calm down sir’ during this time I had to repeat myself by saying to him to calm down because I have paid for my ticket and he kept screaming in my face ‘DO NOT SNATCH THE PHONE FROM THE BUS DRIVER’ I said again ‘calm down as I did not snatch the phone from the driver and as a matter of fact he snatched it from my hand and this is my phone’ and he kept repeating himself the same thing ‘DO YOU WANT TO WALK HOME?’... This wild scene made by your driver was taking for about 3-4 minutes and I am sure that any other passenger got embarrassed, confused and scared by this guy (Michael)! However, at that moment of distressing situation I was thinking to walk away and buy another ticket and jump to another bus home, but I did not want to give up as I really didn’t do anything wrong and I paid for my journey, but not to be having this experience. The reason that I am writing this review, is that as a traveler I felt very offended, weak, and unprotected and felt in agony, misery, and suffering and like was getting a big/hard slap on the face. My opinion is that the service I have received, was terrible. You shouldn't let someone like him to be working with customers at all, as he has no manners, he is very unpleasant and dangerous to the society. Should I use National Express in the future?, OF COURSE NO. Thank you p.s. The unique reference code in the bus is GN50

Poor experience. My family and I were insulted out of the blue by a crazy lady on board, and the driver did no intervention at all. Only the rest of the passengers showed sympathy for us, but this only provoked her more. I did buy a return ticket but discarded it after this experience. I would advise taking the train if you value your safety.
