I don't usually do tours because I like going at my own pace but after taking Tosca's tour, I honestly can't imagine visiting the National Gallery in DC without her. She had carefully selected the most important pieces in the gallery and was very knowledgeable about each one. Even as we were passing other paintings, she pointed out things to look out for in all paintings which I would never have thought of. She's excellent at answering questions and discussing new things that come up. I highly recommend Tosca for a tour!

Tosca was very knowledgeable not just about pieces highlighted but also other pieces in the galleries visited. She is quite personable and because the tour was semi-private the experience was wonderful. It was a definitely a highlight of our stay in DC. I would highly recommend this activity.

National Gallery of Art in DC has many famous works and artists but gives limited accompanying info, even online and in audio. That’s why a tour with Tosca is great—like walking the museum with a friend but with more info and context to appreciate the notable art. Tosca is very knowledgeable can speak generally about history of styles, techniques, motifs etc. that will help you appreciate works not only in this museum but any other with similar works. Highly recommend!
