Amazing art quilts! The skill and talent shown is mind - boggling! I was, however, quite surprised there were no antique or traditional quilts. I would have LOVED to see examples of quilts as they pertain to local history.

It's a beautiful place filled with some of the most gorgeous quilts I've ever seen. Presentation, lighting, and information plaques were all well done. The docents were passionate about the pieces and offered helpful information. There were family groups and avid quilters in attendance. Fun to see all age groups enjoying the exhibits. I was surprised with the Gift Shop: huge variety of high-quality items at all price points. Note: We planned 2-3 hours for our visit. It was not enough time.

It was fabulous!! Knowing very little about the museum beforehand, I expected to spend a couple of hours there, but boy, was I surprised. I could have spent an entire day there. Such talent!

Inspirational. If you are a quilter, allow at least 2 hours to fully examine all the quilts. Seats where you can see quilts. small gift shop, no cafe.

I’ve always wanted to attend this museum and it didn’t disappoint. I loved reading about the two featured quilters and marveled at the quilts

I loved the Barbara McCraw special exhibit as well as many of the other quilts. The receptionist and the guide were absolutely wonderful. Well worth the trip from Lexington! Inspiring! We were in awe!

As a quilter this is one of the places that I have always wanted to visit. I enjoyed the multiple exhibits in the space and walking around in downtown Paducah. The staff was very nice. The space is open and spacious enough that on most days you won't really have a too many spectators problem to be able to see all the art on the walls. Loved the mini exhibit and the wood quilt( the nerd in me found the story behind this one to be fascinating.

There were so many quilts that seemed hard to believe were quilts. I enjoyed the displays. It seemed like there would be more to see given the size of the building. I went with a friend who was not so interested so I would recommend letting them sit and wait for you in the nice lobby while you take a look. If you are in the neighborhood it is worth a look.

The uniqueness of the quilts was wonderful. Loved the designs. My husband enjoyed viewing the quilts also.

Absolutely amazing!! I've been wanting to see this museum for years and it was worth the wait. The space accommodates all sizes of quilts and the lighting shows off every detail. Work comes for all areas of the world as well as the local talented quilters lucky enough to live in Paducah and take classes. This is definitely well beyond just your grandmother's quilt (although I've seen some awesome old grandma quilts). I was pressed for time, but hope to come back with friends to see this and don't forget the stain glass either!! One thing though, I bought my ticket online only to find out that I qualified for a cheaper price. Could have easily purchased at the museum. Live and learn.
