Meeting point

Departure is at 9:00 am. Be ready 10 Mts before. Walk across the street from the mall and wait by the Shave Ice sign. If you are driving, park by the ocean at the public parking. If you come from the ship you can walk or take the free shuttle to the Mall. We will drop you off at port at 3:30pm.

Your Itinerary

Kukui Grove

It is time to delve into Hawaii's culinary culture. We will visit Kauai Bakery for a mid-morning snack. You will get to try our legendary malasadas, AKA Portuguese donuts filled with various flavors. Other pastries and coffee will be available.

Kauai Coffee Company

Enter the magical world of coffee at the largest plantation in the USA. Sample many roasts for free at the visitor center, take a stroll through the coffee tree garden, shop for the freshest beans. Don’t like coffee? Enjoy an ice cream or cold beverage at the snack shop.

Waimea Canyon State Park

Waimea Canyon State Park is one of Kauai's gems, known as the mini Grand Canyon of the Pacific. Here we will make 3 stops, including the main lookout at 3400 feet elevation. You will see the Canyon from various angles and also the Forbidden island of Niihau from afar. Many stories will be shared and fabulous pictures taken. Majestic beauty at its finest!

Waimea

Around 12:00 pm we will head to the beautiful grounds of the Waimea Plantation Cottages built in the early 1900's during the sugar plantation days. Overlooking at the blue Pacific Ocean and many tropical trees, we will enjoy delicious lunch at famous Chicken in a Barrel. Have a beer while you are at it! they have a beer wall with over 10 selections or a cocktail; after all you are not driving. We will take a leisure stroll through the property to visit Waimea Bay, one of our few black sand beaches, and Captain Cook's first landing place in Hawaii.

Spouting Horn

After lunch we will visit the famous Spouting Horn, an extinct lava tube that became a water geyser. Marvel at the power of nature as the waves crash on the shore and water rushes through the tube. Your guide will share the legend of the site, sound effects and all.

Koloa

After the Spouting Horn, we will head to Koloa Landing. This area is famous for snorkeling and shore dives because there are a lot of Hawaiian Green sea turtles. Here we will scout for the turtles in the water. We will not be getting in the water. We look for them outside of the water at the shoreline. Sightings are not guarantee. Last but not least our tour will end with a beautiful drive through the Eucalyptus Tunnel of Trees in Koloa.

In consideration for on time guests and our after hours duties we are unable to wait for late arrivals.
We can drop off guest at the cruise port at 3:30pm, and the airport.
