Your Itinerary

Kukui Grove

Get ready to start the day right with an introduction to the legendary Portuguese doughnuts known as Malasadas. Our day will start with a visit to a local bakery where you will have a choice to purchase a variety of delectable pastries, sweet and savory.

Poipu Beach Park

After delicious pastries we will head to the south side of Kauai, and we will drive through the lush and iconic Tunnel of Trees on our way to the iconic and beautiful Poipu Beach Park. Here you will have time to take a short stroll and take some pictures. This beach is know as the bedroom for the Hawaiian green sea turtles, AKA Honus. They like to go there to rest in the sand, so we will be on the lookout for them.

Spouting Horn

After our turtle scouting mission at Poipu Beach we will head to visit the famous Spouting Horn, an extinct lava tube that became a water blow hole. Marvel at the power of nature as the waves crash on the shore and rushes through the tube. Beautiful scenic drive by the ocean

Kauai Coffee Company

Don't fall asleep! Next in our agenda is a worthwhile visit to Kauai Coffee Co., the largest coffee orchard in the US. At their visitor center you can sample various roast for free, take a stroll through part of their orchard, learn all about the process from seed to cup, and purchase some of your favorite beans. If you dont like coffee we got your back, have an ice cream or a locally made popsicle at their snack shop.

Waimea Canyon State Park

Waimea Canyon State Park is one of Kauai's gems, known as the mini Grand Canyon of the Pacific. Here we will make 4 stops, including the main lookout, Waipoo Falls, and 2 others not listed on maps. You will see the Canyon from various angles and also the Forbidden island of Niihau from afar. Many stories will be shared and fabulous pictures taken. This is the highlight of the tour! Majestic beauty at its finest!

Admission Included

Waimea Plantation Cottages

Around 12-1pm we will head to the beautiful grounds of the Waimea Plantation Cottages built in the early 1900's during the sugar plantation days. Overlooking at the blue Pacific Ocean and many tropical trees, we will enjoy delicious lunch at famous Chicken in a Barrel. Have a beer while you are at it! they have a beer wall with over 10 selections or a cocktail; after all you are not driving. We will take a leisure stroll through the property to visit Waimea Bay, one of our few black sand beaches, and Captain Cook's first landing place in Hawaii.

Swinging Bridge

Our last stop on tour will be at the historic and charming plantation town of Hanapepe. In this town you will have an opportunity to support many of the small local businesses boasting Hawaii made souvenirs, artwork and spices. Last but not least, take a walk across the famous swinging bridge built in 1911, if you dare!
