    My husband and I had been to New Orleans many times (daughter went to Tulane), but for this visit we wanted a more in-depth view of the city and its history. Stephen gave us that in an exhaustive four-hour tour. He has a deep knowledge of the city (including its food traditions), and he shared that with us as he took us through city neighborhoods, out to the Mississippi River, up to City Park (with a stop for beignets and chicory coffee), on to one of the city’s famed cemeteries, ending with a long drive up St. Charles Avenue. His van was spotless and comfortable. He’s an excellent guide. Highly recommended!

    René was spectacular! He was knowledgeable, friendly, approachable, patient and genuine…all the things one would desire in a tour guide (especially when there is a curious 7 year old in the group). I don’t know if we will ever get a chance to return to New Orleans, but if we do, we will definitely use Isabelle’s tours and request René!

    We took this small-group tour with Stephen. He picked us up on-time at our hotel, we stopped for one more guest at a nearby hotel, and then we had 4 hours of history, city sites, and weather/water information. It was a great overview of the city and it helped us a get a much better feel for the various neighborhoods. Stephen was a safe driver - this is a key tour requirement for us - and the van was spacious and comfortable. My particular focus is on weather and the Mississippi and I was able to get a lot of info from Stephen - which was much appreciated!

    Rene our tour guide, and native of new orleans, was a great source of local information. The city tour was an excellent way to get oriented as we started our tour of the Cresent city. The small coach was very comfortable. I've taken another tour with Isabelle on a prior visit and found the experience to be consistently great. Well worth it!!

    Gisèle was incredible! She gave us so much information and really went out of her way to make sure the kids had fun. We saw everything!

    After pickup from your downtown or French Quarter hotel by air-conditioned van, your tour begins in the French Quarter, where you'll learn about the history and design styles of the old Creole city of New Orleans.

    Jackson Square

    See the Pontalba Buildings of Jackson Square and the famous St. Louis Cathedral.

    Admire St Louis Cathedral and enjoy a view of the Mississippi River.

    French Market

    Along Esplanade Avenue, you'll pass by the French Market, the old US Mint and some elegant mansions.

    St. Louis Cemetery No. 3

    Next, hop off your van and stretch your legs at the historic St Louis Cemetery #3. During a guided walking tour, see some of its many societal tombs, such as the Hellenic Orthodox community and the Dante Lodge of Masons, which represent the varied backgrounds of New Orleans' former residents.

    The Sydney and Walda Besthoff Sculpture Garden at NOMA

    Visit this sculpture garden that occupies approximately eleven acres in City Park adjacent to the New Orleans Museum of Art, and is located within a mature existing landscape of pines, magnolias, and live oaks surrounding two lagoons.

    Caesars Superdome

    Heading downtown, we drive through the Arts District and the Warehouse Section as well as by the World War II Museum, going by the Superdome and through the heart of the business district as we return to your hotel.

    Bayou St John

    Back on your van, travel along peaceful Bayou St John, where you’ll see houses from the late 1700s.

    Garden District

    On the drive back to your hotel, you’ll pass through Uptown and along St Charles Avenue, where the grand colonial mansions of the Garden District are some of the most beautiful in all the South.
