We are not very big beer drinkers (a beer at each bar), so we took the dry run... and purchased cocktails instead. The information about the Irish on the tour, I would rate 2-3. We wanted some in-depth knowledge of how they got here, what they went through, where they landed, how many are still here, hardships of building the channel ... and were looking for places called O'Malley's or Brannigans... you know... something Irish! We went to Tracy's , the balcony bar and the Rum House, which had nothing to do w/ the Irish.

Great tour with lively bar stops. This area of the community in NOLA is often overlooked, so it was great to dig into a niche that many don't know about. Friendly guides who know the area well make this a safe and fun experience as well.
