We enjoyed walking around the town at night. Our guide was earnest, but the tour wasn't very spooky. It wasn't bad, at all, but it was just more of a history of Newport with some stories of slightly mysterious deaths. He did use an EMF to check various areas, which was interesting. It was a totally appropriate tour for young people.

Joe was very informative, wasn't aware of Goat Island, or Newports rich history the stories were very interesting, sea worthy & some spooky!

Very Boring tour. Awkward unengaging guide. Paid for the extra 30 mins but bailed after the main tour. The good reviews all raved about a great tour guide. I guess we got the wrong one.

Fun hour with great Newport stories! Host was charismatic and knowledgeable. A great little walk around the city.

I very much enjoyed learning about the history of Newport. Huge win here! If you’re solely looking for ghost stories only, you may be disappointed. If you’re curious about the history of Newport coupled with some ghost stories, you’re in for a treat. Our tour guide Joe was friendly, very knowledgeable and personable as well. I chose the extended tour and was delighted to learn more about the history along with more ghost stories. Well worth the extra seven dollars. Especially since it was only Joe and me.

James is an amazing guide. Learned alot of history in a town that I have visited for many years. I had no idea of the background. James was very thorough and involved some humor to keep the groups attention. I will definitely recommend this tour to friends and family. Hopefully they can have the same experience I did. Thank you!!

James was a fantastic tour guide! He was knowledgeable, witty, and respectful. We were very pleased with our experience and learned much more than we expected, all while laughing along the way. Would definitely suggest this experience to others! We went the day after Christmas which was a unique contrast to typical holiday season activities. The night was foggy and the weather was a little misty which made the experience even better given the nature of the tour!

We went on a cold night in December. We had John Eric as our tour guide. He was great. Very friendly and knowledgeable of the area. Went through the history of Newport and even gave us some recommendations on good local restaurants. Thanks for coming out on such a cold night John Eric.
