We had a wonderful time on the Newport Food Tour! Our guide CC was welcoming and informative and the other “foodies” were very friendly. A fun, tasty experience was enjoyed by all! The Ratcliffes of Mansfield, MA

We went on this food tour for a bachelorette party with 10 girls and it was incredible! Our tour guide,Cece, was knowledable, efficient, and hilarious. She took care of all our dietary restrictions with no problem (vegetarian and gluten free). We loved her so much. Each restaurant had delicious food and the staff was great. Great way to get to know the city a bit.

This food tour was amazing!! Cece led us through Newport and its best restaurants, and made it the most fun day. She provided such interesting insight into not only the history of the restaurants and their cuisine, but also of Newport itself. Her fun attitude made our entire group spend the day laughing and having such a fun time. Can’t recommend this food tour enough!

My wife and I have done multiple food tours and try to incorporate them into our travel plans. We were staying down the road in Westerly and booked the tour as I had been to Newport a few times, but always on business. First of all, our guide, Erin was outstanding. From experience, a great guide is knowledgeable, brings the history of the area to life, engages everyone on the tour and knows when to be present and be in the background. Erin did it all! The stops on the tour were also well planned and all of the food was interesting and the portions were perfect. We have been on tours where we were stuffed after the second stop. There was also a good amount of walking (we guessed about a mile and a half), which gives you some needed exercise between stops. We both felt the favorites were Nitro (which served a mozzarella, tomato, pesto on sliced bread with balsamic drizzle which was simple but soooo good along with a sample of their Iced Nitro Brew which was so smooth. We also loved the sticky pork rib and margarita at Perro Salado. The stops on the tour were neighborhood staples that the owners in some cases got involved with the tour which was awesome. I also like Hummingbird ant the jerk chicken dish...really spicy and tasty! Finally, we had a treat in that Veteran's Day was being celebrated and and the 4th Artillery Armory was open and right on our tour route. The veterans were so gracious and invited us in to see the museum which as unbelievable. Not usually open to the public. Newport is a great city and the tour focuses on places where the locals go that are not as touristy. A must if you love walking food tours!

Food was great. CC was a great guide, friendly, knowledgeable, and articulate. Everything was well set up in advance, and there was plenty of room for 12 of us at every establishment

Great tour! Our guide, CC, was fantastic. She was so knowledgeable and fun to hang out with. Learned a lot about the history of the neighborhoods we walked through. We visited 6 different restaurants; Jamaican, Asian, Latin, to name a few. Great variety. All authentic and not touristy places. CC took very good care of us!! Definitely recommend!
