Bridge of Lions

(Pass by)

Completed in 1927, the Bridge was constructed during the extravagant land boom times in Florida. It was designed as a work of art as much as a transport for cars, connecting downtown St. Augustine with Anastasia Island. A double-leaf bascule bridge, or drawbridge, it opens for boat traffic several times throughout the day.

Castillo de San Marcos National Monument

(Pass by)

The Castillo de San Marcos is the oldest masonry fort in the continental United States; it is located on the western shore of Matanzas Bay in the city of St. Augustine, Florida.

Flagler College

(Pass by)

Flagler College, housed in what was once one of Henry Flagler's most opulent Gilded-Age hotels in St. Augustine, is a private four-year college. The college opened in 1968 and now offers 32 majors, 44 minors, and two pre-professional programs. With an enrollment of 2,500 students, the college draws students from all over the world to study liberal and fine arts in this magnificent setting in the nation's oldest city.

BUYER BEWARE - DO NOT DEPEND ON THIS OPERATOR!!! In early *March* 2023, we were offered a "deal" to book a St. Augustine Night of Lights golf cart tour at a discounted rate. At the time, I booked the entire cart (7-seats) and reserved Saturday, December 23rd at 8p. We live out of town, so friends and I decided to make a weekend of it and reserved an Airbnb for Friday and Saturday night. We received several confirmations leading up to our tour so we committed to our plan. On Friday evening (22nd) at 8p we received yet another confirmation so thought all was well. Then, on Saturday morning, just before noon, we received a text saying that our tour was CANCELLED due to "mechanical" issues. This text didn't even accept replies, which is a bit of a jerk move. They claimed they were "VERY sorry" and would be reaching out to reschedule. I called the main number for Old City Shuttle. Of course, there was no answer. But I did get a text from the number saying to text instead. I don't know why they bothered, because even when I texted (at several times throughout the day!), they just ignored me and refused to reply. It's now been *4 days* since they screwed us over and we haven't heard a peep from them. No offer to refund. No "reaching out to reschedule." Such a scam! There are several other tour companies to choose from for this event. Save yourself the aggravation and avoid this one!

Had reservations for the nights of lights and because of bad weather it was canceled! I was told I'd get an email to reschedule, never got one so I contacted them! I was told to send the paperwork which I did then, I was ghosted! I'm talking $150.00 and nothing! I've emailed several times nothing! This is not customer service! We will be contacting the better business bureau and Saint Augustine business. Would I recommend this business ABSOLUTELY NOT! Why would you ask for my receipts if they had the money and why would you charge my credit card taxes! This is the response you give to everyone! CONSUMERS BEWARE!

We were early for our tour and Mitch, our tour guide was there too and we had a great conversation about St. Augustine and its history. The tour was relaxing and fun. It wasn’t a narrated tour but we knew that when we booked. He did, however, take the time to point out some of the more beautiful displays of lights. I would definitely recommend going to see the Nights of Lights especially to get into the Christmas spirit!
