We enjoyed a nice & vibrant Nuns Valley tour with Feeling Madeira . Our host was Sergio who provided door to door pick up, punctual ,polite & good humoured . Good views of Funvhal from viewpoint at Pico Dos Barcelos ( cucifix overlooking Funchal). The Eira do Serrado Viewpoint reflected the wild nature of mountainous Madeira & provided good views of the picturesque village of Curral das Freiras. Liked the quirky Chestnut museum. One improvement would be to assure all tour buses have aircon,

Fantastic views, but a little too short. Maybe adding couple more stops would make it much better. Take intonconsideration.

This was a lovely trip to the Valley of the Nuns, with two wonderful view points and a tasting of some delicious island produce. Our tour guide kept us very well informed about everything we could see and she was an excellent driver. We felt very safe in the minibus on the narrow, winding mountain roads.

Fantastic coach driver giving lots of information and telling jokes during the morning stunning scenery beautiful views really enjoyed the trip. Tasting conker liquor fantastic morning

The three stops on this tour were picturesque and worthwhile. However, it would be great to spend more time in the nun’s valley and reduce time at the other two photo opportunity stops. Driver was careful and informative.

Another fabulous tour with Feeling Madeira. This is such a perfect half day tour. Our guide, Gloria, was charming, informative and funny (tricky in a foreign language!) and like the two-day East/West tours we did with a couple of her colleagues, judged the pace and content perfectly. The scenery on the drive up to the Nuns' Valley is wonderful and even better when you get there. A few stops on the way there and back to admire the views and visit a tiny sweet factory and plenty of time in the village to have a coffee, sample the local cake and chestnut delicacies and shop for souvenirs. Back in Funchal by lunch time for an afternoon soaking up the sun - what could be better!

We where at the pick up point on time but one couple was late, so we sent 40 minutes driving up and down the port road looking for them. We did not expect the minibus to be a local Taxi, The driver was very nice but could not speak much English so he had difficulty explaining things to us. We felt a bit rushed at the stops and I presume this was down to our late departure. The trip was ok,ish but we did feel a little let down

They were wonderful. The driver was knowledgeable and had a great personality. They were even great about picking us up when we had some confusion on the meeting place. They made the extra effort to send a special car and take us to meet our group. Thank you so much!!!

The tour itself was very nice, the landscape is amazing. Our guide Gloria was "nice". She gave us some explanations in English but she was too busy speaking Portuguese to a couple sitting in front. If you decide to do this tour ask for Renato-he is the best guide I have ever met! Do the tour with him and you won't be sorry!

Very disappointed felt really rushed. 25 minutes in nuns Valley was not enough. The mini bus was cramped and air conditioning was poor. Front seats taken by guests and the guide spent most of her time talking in Portuguese to them. Felt this was really rude. No information regarding to nuns valley on your bus. I have done this trip before and this did not match up in anyway. The one I have done previous was interesting and informative and engaging. Unfortunately this was anything but. Couldn't wait to get off.
