Wonderful experience. The boat is clean and spacious for 17 people, all of us have our own space. The crew is very friendly snd professional. We were lucky and saw whales yesterday. The overall experience is superb and highly recommended to anyone.

Staff at VIP dolphins are great, so informative the whole way and took us to get some great views of the island. Small enough group on a big boat that everyone can move around and get different views. 10/10

First of all, the crew were attentive, informative and friendly. They really wanted us to have a fantastic experience, which we did. We were lucky to see dolphins up close which was an amazing site. Drinks and food were plentiful and we felt well looked after indeed. The catamaran was immaculately clean and modern and for the 16 passengers onboard there was plenty of comfortable seats for all. I would really recommend VIP Dolphins catamaran in Funchal.

Fab trip with great crew that kept us informed, entertained and comfortable! We saw a common dolphin too. Amazing to see in it natural habitat with crew being very respectful to it. Got to have a little swim in a little bag too. Lovely traditional snacks along the way and they kept us hydrated with fizz and special cocktail! Went down great. If it got chilly they were round straight away with blankets and had towels on hand after swim. Really looked after us Beautiful catamaran and great scenery and the perfect hosts. Thanks for a great day.

An absolute fantastic experience! The guides were knowledgeable and entertaining, the service was perfect and always with a smile. Aurora took some brilliant photos and they were emailed to us within 24 hours. We were extremely lucky and saw 3 different species of Dolphin almost immediately. Bottle Nose, Common and Spotted Atlantic. The spotted were very playful, and a joy to watch. Brilliant swim in the sea under the cliffs mid-way and then a casual cruise back to the harbour. 100% recommended!

We didn't see so much as a mackerel, hardly the fault of the operator if the whales don't want to play, but there was little else to see. The experience is described as "luxury whale watching," we expected a nice buffet to be laid on. Instead, there was a meagre fare of ham sandwiches and greasy custard cakes. However, the crew were friendly, helpful and generous with the cocktails.
