    Nice aquarium. Laid out in a way that has a good flow. It can get a bit crowded at spots so don’t be in a rush. You will see everything. Otters were the best. Staff friendly and helpful. One of the nicest aquariums I’ve been to.

    The otters were adorable as were the penguins. It might be the biggest in the world but Sydney aquarium beats it with its glass walkway and fish swimming above your head. Kids will love it though.

    The Lisbon Oceanarium is a fantastic attraction for visitors of all ages. It features various fish and marine species worldwide, all carefully displayed for an enjoyable viewing experience. While all the aquariums and climate zones are beautifully arranged and entertaining, the otters were our favorites. Watching them play in the pool is an experience that can captivate you indefinitely. This place will bring out your inner child, guaranteeing a boost of positive emotions and pure happiness.

    Really great place and lots of information and conservation efforts happening. The oceanarium itself was very busy and was quite difficult to get around. However, the show outside of the oceanarium was really beautiful and interesting.

    Largest aquarium In the world. Amazing! Loved the Dragon fish, the sharks and the penguins. The aquariums has two levels for viewing.

    Oceanario de Lisboa

    A visit to the Oceanário de Lisboa is a unique experience that will take you to know and feel the unforgettable magic of the underwater world. Embark on this contemplative journey to discover 8000 sea creatures, from 500 different species. The permanent exhibition (Aquarium) celebrates life on Earth with a central 5-million-liter saltwater aquarium surrounded by four marine habitats representing habitats of the North Atlantic, Antarctic*, Temperate Pacific, and Tropical Indian Ocean, creating the illusion that we are looking at one aquarium and one ocean. The visit takes place on two levels, terrestrial and underwater, crossing the temperate, tropical, and cold waters of the different oceans of the planet. Discover also the «Forests Underwater», a work by master Takashi Amano, who presents us with tropical forests through the largest nature aquarium in the world and the new «Submerged Universe» exhibition, an immersive journey into the immensity of the ocean.
