    Day trip from Wintergreen with our 6 and 8 year olds. The kids were nervous at first about Dad's lack of experience driving off-road, but everyone had a ball! Shawn was a terrific guide -- full of insight about the vehicle, the region, the terrain... Highly recommend!

    Our late November trip with Terra Overland exceeded our expectations. We were looking for something fun to do with our two adult sons(both Jeep drivers), and that would be memorable, adventurous, and open up a new family activity. Sean and Dawn were outstanding - outgoing, patient, instructive, and encouraging, Equipment is top-notch, safety pre-brief and initial guidance helped get everyone oriented, and conversations along the way helped us understand the "why" and the "how" of successful overlanding. Absolutely worth the cost for the experience, and learning on a well equipped vehicle. We drove in from Fairfax County that morning, spent 5 hours on the trail, and headed home. Everyone was tired and happy. Recommend without hesitation!

    Went on this amazing journey with my daughter to obtain clarity, peace, and enjoy the beauty of nature. What we found was a life changing experience rife with the understanding that there is so much more in life! The views were breathtaking, and as a Virginia resident I realized there is so much more in this amazing state. Shawn was a wealth of knowledge, talented behind the wheel, and inspiring in his love of the business and conservation of nature! Dawn was so awesome to speak with and answered every question I had about booking! I would highly recommend Terra Overland and all of their adventure packages to everyone I know! If you get the opportunity to go on just one of these life changing adventures, take it! After a single outting you will find yourself coming back again and again, as I know that I will! Thank you Dawn, Shawn, and the Terra Overland company for giving us a sense of adventure, clarity, and renewed sense of purpose! You have life long customers here! Thank you!

    Planned this tour for my birthday with my brother and his wife. While the weather was not great, the trip was. We had a fantastic time, enjoyed Shawn's knowledge about overlanding, the Shenandoah Valley and Jeeps! All three of us had a ball, and I'm already planning a spring trip to go birding. If you're in the area, I'd highly recommend touring with them, you won't regret it!

    “AWESOME” I have no other words that can describe this off road trip we took with Shawn and Dawn. Definitely upgrade so you can wheel one of these unbelievable Jeeps. There knowledge of the Virginia mountain range is incredible and you will get to adventure to areas that you would never see as an average tourist. The views we saw were spectacular and at one point of our adventure on an amazing ridge half the jeep is in Virginia and the other half is in WV. We can’t wait to head out again with TerraOverland possibly to camp for a few days. Thank you TerraOverland for the HIGHLIGHT of our vacation and for the respect you have for the forest.
