Had a lovely walking tour this Sunday with Monika. She picked me up from my hotel, ran through the itinerary, and then we began our 2+ hour excursion. Since there is SO MUCH history and SO MANY buildings in Munich, Monika helped prioritize the oldest churches/city buildings/and squares with a map that showed how the city has transformed from Middle Ages to present. The pictures also helped me visualize what the count princes, popes, and other significant characters looked like in their time period. The time flew by and I felt like we covered a lot of the Holy Roman Empire Catholicism vs. Protestantism history along with the World War II Nazi Germany history. Fabulous woman who didn't rush and always checked in to make sure that I having fun. Highly recommend her!
