My wife and I have become big fans of this author. The tours around Tahoe were stunning and the various gold country tours were both fun and educational. What we really enjoy is how she has woven the history of all these amazing places in each of her California tours. Old town Sacramento is brought alive through this walking tour. Learning about Sacramento's history and how it fit into the the birth of California and the adventurous gold rush days was a real treat as you stroll along the wooden plank boardwalks and cobble stone roads. A great way to see the restored Old town district and its many museum, shops, and restaurants. Two big thumbs up
