Your Itinerary

Llucalcari

We will walk down a little path to discover some beautiful old houses and swim in a nice rock beach. We can dive, jump and walk around the pine forest. I will offer masks and water shoes.

Deia

The village of Deià is one of the most beautiful in Mallorca. We can get lost around the old houses and climb to the top were we get amazing views. We can stop in a nice local restaurant for some typical food.

Cala Deia

After lunch we swim again in a little secret spot. It's also a good time to relax and take photos. To get there we walk down a path in the middle of a pine forest

Son Marroig

The last stop is an amazing viewpoint on top of a huge cliff. We can also walk a little way up to an old tower nearby, the views are breathtaking.

If you're itching to really get the vibe of Mallorca, Alex's tour is where it's at! Seriously, this guy knows the island inside out and backwards. He'll take you to spots that aren't even on the tourist radar, giving you a taste of the real Mallorca. Plus, he's just a cool dude to hang out with, super friendly and laid-back. If you want to see the island like a local and have a blast doing it, Alex's tour is the way to go!

My wife and I went on this fantastic excursion to some magical swimming coves with clear blue water - a must do in my opinion and we would not hesitate to go again. The locations feel remote and off the beaten path which is more our speed compared to the common tourist-filled beaches. Alex is an amazing guide, totally fluent in English, French, and of course, Spanish and Catalan. He is genuinely interested in getting to know you and answer any questions you throw his way. His personality and knowledge is a key part of the experience and we were especially happy to support an individually run business. What to expect below. Note that this was our experience in August 2023 but things could certainly change in the future. Check with Alex if unsure - he is very helpful. You will be in a group of 8 people + Alex. The other people with us were nice and it was honestly more fun with the added personalities. Just enough people to keep things lively but not so many it becomes a hassle. Pickup from the transit center in Palma in the morning around 930AM - easy to get to and convenient since all the buses go here. Drive for an hour or so to the first swimming spot (which we think is the best one). 15 minute hike down - you want to be physically able without injuries. I was initially worried about not bringing closed toe shoes but made the right choice leaving them at the hotel and was able to get down easily in flip flops with just a bit of extra care. Wet shoes and goggles are provided which is very nice for the pointy rocks and to see all the aquatic life. Swim and explore for 1-2 hours then back to the car. Probably just after 1PM now. Drive 15-30 mins into the town of Deia. Park and lunch time at a family run joint. Delicious simple food that feels local - appetizer, main course, dessert. You will need to pay for lunch but it is very reasonably priced. Walk up to the church with great views of the town, then back to the car to the next swimming spot. Probably 3:30PM at this point. 15min drive to the next swimming hole. 10 min walk down and more swimming fun with what felt like local residents. Swim for an hour and back to the car. Drive 15 mins to a breathtaking vista point. Take some photos and admire the beauty of the island. Back to the car and drive an hour back into Palma. We got back to the initial pick up spot just after 6PM. Say goodbyes and wander off into the sunset, wondering if the day was just a dream. Would give 6 stars if I could. Alex is the man!!

What an amazing adventure, I highly recommend Alex and his company. This tour/ excursion was great, I did not feel like it was the typical tourist experience. It was authentic and I felt like a local venturing out in Mallorca. The scenery, views, towns, food, improvisation, etc. All great, I made new traveling friends and we all bonded. Please book this tour, you won’t regret it ;)

this tour was so fun! alex was an amazing guide! he took us to the prettiest cove where we got to swim and explore the sea, he even provided water shoes and snorkel gear! the scenery was absolutely stunning! he then took us to a cute spot for lunch where we got to try authentic dishes which were so delicious! after we went on a beautiful hike through the woods with incredible views of the coast and finished the day by cooling off at another cove. this is the perfect tour to do if you want to see the local spots on the island. he even gave us recommendations for more places to go, in palma and around the island if you had a car, as well as restaurants, cafes, and bars. i highly recommend this experience and will definitely do it again whenever i come back to mallorca!

An amazing day discovering some hidden gems and beautiful villages. Alex was very accommodating and his sense of adventure really made the day special. Cave swimming, hiking and a delicious lunch - what's not to love?! The experience was exactly as advertised. I would recommend to any nature lovers who are looking for unique views and adventure!

So was in touch with the guide yesterday and I asked what activities are on instead of swimming, seeing it is end of march and water is still ice cold, guide said that he wants to swim in cold water but seeing the situation and temperature, the longer hike can be done to cover the time normally used for swimming. He said he has only 1 more person and asked to change dates. When I said Im ok for the tour and different date but without swimming (im not an adept of wim hoff, and I find forced swim in ice cold water very stressful for body and mind) . He replied he wants to swim anyway and he is very excited about it. I worked many years in tourims and it is first guide who so blatantly wants to have fun on his own and by expenses covered by tourists. Beyond unprofessional

Alex’s tour was the highlight of my time in Mallorca. He’s super warm and kind, knowledgeable about the area, fun and caring. He was in tune with the needs of the group and made some adjustments throughout the day to optimize for people. Alex provided everything we needed for a great day (extra water, water shoes, goggles, even a noodle if needed!). Alex is a great swimmer and an expert at navigating the rocks, so he was able to help others when they needed it. I think part of what makes him such a great guide is that you can feel how much he cares about everyone having a good time through all of his actions. He even spent extra time with us to make sure that we got to see everything we wanted. Bonus points for introducing us to the Spanish tunes! I HIGHLY recommend Alex and his tour - you won’t be disappointed!

The trip is the most perfect way to explore mallorca and see things you would never see otherwise. All of the swimming spots are insane and the tour guide encourages everyone to step out of their comfort zone and explore like we have never before! Could not recommend it enough and it was the highlight of our Mallorca trip.
