This pretty palace is a favourite of ours because of its connection to Mary, Queen of Scots. It’s also known for one of the most intense scenes in the Outlander series…

And in reality, it’s a stunning castle with a tall gate house, an impressive great hall, and lovely views of the River Teith. **Please note that Doune Castle is closed from 8th January - 18th February 2024. We will instead take you to Linlithgow Palace. We apologise for the inconvenience.

Spent a great day touring the Outlander castles with Cameron. He was very knowledgeable, super friendly and a great storyteller. If you love the show and/or the books, this tour is wonderful!

Great tour...whether your a Highlander fan or just want to see some cool castles and towns! Our tour guide Simon was wonderful - knew lots of Scottish history and details of Outlander. He also stopped at some extra places that weren't on the itinerary. We really enjoyed the day.

Amazing tour from Graeme! Got the full Outlander experience plus bonus tips and tricks. PS - we ended up seeing Sam Heughan in Edinburgh the day after 😍

Our tour guide, William Malcolm Drummond, was great! His constant stream of historical Scots history delivered in the perfect Scots brogue was interesting and informative. The actual sites we visited were easily identifiable to specific scenes from the series. It was amazing seeing structures erected hundreds of years ago still standing and useable. If you love history, you'll love this tour!

Steven was our tour guide for the day! He did a great job! We enjoyed the whole day and enjoyed all the knowledge that he had about the history of the places we visited! Very satisfied! Thank you!

This was a wonderful tour. Ewan was our guide, a man who talked about everything from the show to awful dad jokes, with plenty of tangents in between! We were simultaneously amused and educated as this crazy Scot drove us to multiple destinations and amazing sights. Definitely a fun tour.

Nick and Rhys were fantastic guides - super personable, knowledgeable, and accommodating. The tour never felt like it was rushed even though we hit quite a few sites throughout the area and pickup/dropoff were very convenient.

We loved our guide Jim Scot! He was knowledgeable, funny, warm and friendly. Despite some disgruntled American tourists who were angry because they themselves kept the whole bus waiting (and promised to make a poor review), we had a lovely time. Jim Scot gets ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ from the Dane and the fake Dane for his fantastic tour guide skills! Thank you!!

This tour was really well organized/spaced out. Our tour guide was awesome and super knowledgeable about Outlander/Scotlands history. He was also a great story teller while we were on the road trips in-between site visits. The company seems to be environmental friendly which is a plus. Visiting these places on your own would be difficult without a car. We stopped for lunch at a location that had lots of good options for food.
