Blackness Castle

Small castle dated on XV century. It was used as a harbor for the burgh of Linlithgow. We will do a photostop (no castle visit).

Midhope Castle

Lallybroch in the series, it is a XVI century towerhouse. It will be closed some days in November 2023: 15/11, 22/11. Also between 22/12/2023 and 15/03/2024. During closing dates, we will visit Falkland instead.

Linlithgow Palace

Next stop brings you to Linlithgow and his palace. After visiting the monument we will have time to lunch

Callendar House

This incredible mansion and its gardens are located in Falkirk. It used to be a towermansion of Livingston family. It was refurbished in the XIX century inspired by French palaces and medieval Scottish castles.

Doune Castle

Breathtaking fortress in the middle of two forests. It was a strategical location on the way to the North and a great example of how a castle was built on the medieval period.

Royal Burgh of Culross

The first stop is in Culross, a well preserved burgh which foundation is dated on XVII century. Time to enjoy the narrow streets and the abbey ruins.
