What to expect
Oxford
The iconic buildings of Oxford University. We start outside the Sheldonian Theatre for an introduction to the tour and an explanation of the Emperors’ Heads. We move round to the Clarendon Building, taking in the Weston Lib, the Indian Institute and the King’s Arms. We move along Catte Street for views of the Great Gate of the Bodleian Library, then enter Radcliffe Square for the Radcliffe Camera, Exeter and Brasenose Colleges, and a brief detour to admire a CS Lewis Chronicles of Narnia site. Returning past the University Church of St Mary, we pause to take in All Souls College, passing by to enter New College Lane for Edmond Halley’s house, the Turf Tavern, New College Bell Tower and cloisters, before ending at the 600 year old former main entrance to New College.
The experience can be subject to change due to bad weather or unforseen circumstances. We always endeavour to give you the best possible experience.
