My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our walking/tasting tour of Parma. Michelle was the perfect guide and we enjoyed every stop we and the unique places we visited. From the prosciutto education/tasting, and wine tasting and, the cheese education and tasting and the final stop at the gelato shop. Michelle was very knowledgeable about the city and history which made our walking tour that much more interesting.

This private tour was the highlight of our stay in Parma. Our guide Bearice was very knowledgeable. All the shops and restaurants we visited were family owned. We asked a lot of questions and she answered them with many interesting details and great patience. We learned a lot about all the delicious cakes, cold cuts, cheese and pasta we sampled and also some of the history of this beautiful city. She was very gracious. We enjoyed every minute of this tour.

I recently had the joy of experiencing the Artemilia Parma Food Walking Tour, and it was an absolute delight. This tour, led by the wonderful guide Serena, was an exquisite journey through Parma's culinary delights, beautifully paced and immensely satisfying. The tour includes an impressive array of tastings, including a chopping board of sumptuous cold cuts like Prosciutto di Parma DOP and Culatello di Zibello DOP (that I will dream about the rest of my life). Each tasting was an education in flavor, history, and technique, perfectly explained by Serena, whose knowledge and passion for Parma’s gastronomy shone brightly. The vertical tasting of Parmigiano Reggiano offered insights into the age-old techniques of cheese making and provided a clear sense of how aging affects depth and flavor. The traditional balsamic vinegar was another highlight, with its complex and rich flavors. and the tour concluded on a high note with artisanal gelato. A tip we learned from Serena, look for a 3 cone rating on the front of the Gelateria. Not only was each stop a discovery of taste and tradition, but the entire experience felt like a leisurely stroll through Parma with a friend who knows every secret nook. The tour was excellently valued, considering the quality and quantity of food and drink included. Anyone looking for an authentic taste of Parma’s culinary heritage need look no further than the Artemilia Food Walking Tour with Serena. It’s a gastronomic adventure that satisfies the palate and enriches the mind. Absolutely recommend!

Our guide (Lisa) was the best - full of interesting information and passionate about her hometown. All of the food that we sampled (and there was a lot) was high quality and delicious. I highly recommend this tour - we will be back!

Lisa did an excellent job showing us around Parma and highlighting the local shops, culture, and (of course) food. She mentioned that the tours may differ based on what restaurants are open each day, but that they always focus on the most local options. This tour definitely proved we should spend more time in Parma. Thank you, Lisa!

Michelle was an awesome tour guide and very knowledgable about the history of the city as well as the food culture here in Parma. We were able to experience preferred service from the vendors along with artisan and authentic traditional foods. She was also knowledgeable about how the foods are made and shared her own family cultural traditions. We found this to be a great experience and worth the trek from Bologna!
