We had a brilliant family tour around faro without the cocktails. Andrei our guide was a fountain of local knowledge and very personable. We all loved the thrill of the segways. The city is set up for segways with very little traffic and lots of pedestrian spaces.

It was our fist experience with a Segway and our first time in Faro. We really enjoyed the tour. It’s a pleasant way to discover this beautiful small town. The guide was very kind, we learned a lot of interesting things about the city and the history of Portugal. We had a lot of fun and recommend this tour !

After a quick lesson, we were off on our Segways to explore Old Town. Our guide was exception. He had great English and shared his vast knowledge of Faro. The tour was great value and very informative. A definite must while visiting Faro.

The poor review another person left, also happened to someone in my party, and also with an injury. As to the tour itself, most of it was just okay. The areas we passed through in Faro were mostly unexceptional. I expected more culture. To me, it was a “meh” / unimpressive experience. Perhaps the other sites are better.

The Segway Tour is a great possibility to get to know the city; the guide was really, really nice and knows a lot about the city and its history; I would definitely recommend to do the tour as a starter to explore the city as you get a lot of tips for restaurants, trips and where to get the best drinks :-) And besides its great fun to drive with the segways!!!

Love, love, love this tour. Guides are great. They make sure you are comfortable to handle the machines and always on hand to lend support. Plus they know their history of Faro.
