(Pass by)

Here starts our experience, in case you don't have a pick-up.

Frauenkirche

I deliver a full overview about the construction from this monument and bring you (in case you want) inside the church. The duration of the visit depends on the time when we come inside, because they have service hours, but in any case, I make your visit memorable.

Viktualienmarkt

Biergarten visit with special places for memorable pictures. I know the best spots for your collection.

Heilig Geist

To finalize the visit in the Viktualienmarkt, is this a must for your visit. Here you see and hear (from me) the history about this place, before it was transformed in a church. We can optionally go inside.

Isartor

The relation between Salzburg and Bavaria is partially a subject related to the battle of Ampfing. See the arch, where so many visitors of Munich passed in early days when visiting this city.

St. Peter's Church

First church in Munich, even before Munich existed. In case you want, we can visit inside the barock works and reliquies.

Maximillianstrasse

The monumental constructions in this street and richest shopping mall from this street are remarkable.

Marienplatz

Hear about Munich grew from an insignificant Market to a big Town.

Residenz

We visit the outside from the royal palace. In case you want, I offer another special visit inside this palace.

Bayerische Staatsoper

King Ludwig II and Richard Wagner were here many times. Facts over Gossip, I'll tell you details from history from 18th century over 2nd War till today.

Odeonsplatz

This place has so much to tell about Bavaria. From the architecture over Kings and the consequences of the World War

Funf Hofe (Five Courts)

Elyasson Sculpture, modern luxury Mall in the city

Promenadeplatz

Michael Jackson was many times here, but over this guest from the city, I present you the finest restaurants, cafes and options for your stay

Platzl

We will pass through a reconstruction from the medieval city

Rathaus-Glockenspiel

I'm one of the few persons who visited this master of engineering inside. So I can deliver the most actual and fascinating histories from this piece of art.

New Town Hall (Neus Rathaus)

I explain the architecture and present you some of the personalities in the Fassade from this building

Old Town Hall

Place where Goebels once signed the Reichspogromnacht Order

Mariensaule

We finish here our visit with the history behind the holy Mary and the 30 years war.

Viscardigasse

Hitler's Putsch, 2nd War and the way over the Nazi terror

Our guide John was very helpful and considerate. He was very warm too. However, we couldn’t complete all the places mentioned in the itinerary though John really tried. We asked for a pick up near the hotel because the point was too far, and the public transportation in Munich is enormously gigantic. John came to the hotel, we had some difficulty locating him, but we also had to pay quite a lot of extra money for that, which was a lot considering that the tour itself is quite expensive

Martin was knowledgeable about munich and it was a super tour. We learned a lot about Munich and it's beginning. Most helpful. We walked around center city and even visited the Hofbraugh and had a beer. Definitely recommend this tour.

Wonderful experience. It was great to have a private tour. We were on a tight schedule and we were able to see everything. No distractions and didn’t waste any time. He escorted us to the train station and got us to our train on time.

We had John, who gave us a terrific tour- just what we wanted for our first time in Munich. He was promptly (if not early) waiting for us in our lobby. He followed our pace, customized to what we wanted to see, and gave us some interesting overview of history and culture. John has a lovely personality and we enjoyed our morning with him. When I look back at my photos we saw more than I expected. He even walked us to our lunch reservation after the tour and inscribed Paul’s book of Munich, as a parting gift. Totally met my expectations and would recommend if you want a personal and private experience.

Plan for a long walk (7 miles walked) but with lots of interesting and historical landmarks along the way. World War I and II, current economy, governor and ruling houses and grounds, even surfers downtown. Paul wasn't available that day but his friend Martin did a great job. Good overview of the history of Munich.

First of all , no Paul! The guide sent in his place was not interested in answering any questions or pointing out anything interesting. It was a boring tour . Considering it was a private tour, I thought she would have more to show us and go at our pace. She was very slow and seemed bored with us. It was our first day in Munich and we were excited to learn about what to do and see while we were there. She had no suggestions.

Paul was excellent. He provided an overview and historical facts about landmarks you just can’t read about it books. Highly recommend if visiting Munich!

LuAnn_M

Paul was an amazing guide! His knowledge along with his humor made this tour exceptional! We went to places we never would have seen and learned about history, architecture, and Paul threw in some other interesting facts along the way. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with Paul and would book him again!
