Randy was an excellent tour guide. He was very knowledgeable about the area and gave great instruction on how to take the best photos.

We had a great time! Randy was very helpful in teaching us to use some previously unknown features of our cell phone cameras ands how to frame the best shots. We saw more than we expected and filled our time with fantastic sights, laughter, and awesome photos. We wished this tour had been at the beginning of our trip to Alaska, so the rest of our photos could have been this good.

Brock took his time to teach us several aspects of our cell camera. Also the basis how to frame a shot, how to use subject lines to lead our eyes. He was very friendly and a knowledgeable about the history of the area.

Great communication prior to the tour removed the stress of venturing off from standard Cruise ship excursions. Brock was very personable and helpful. We highly recommend him. The extra photography tips during the excursion can be used on all future excursions.

Excellent tour! Our guide, Randy, was very knowledgeable and entertaining. We missed the excursion we had booked and they were kind enough to pick us up and let us go along with their tour. They truly saved the day! Great photo tips and took us all over the island to see the sights. Dropped us off wherever we wanted after the tour. Provided lunch recommendations as well!

I really enjoyed All the tips and stories from our guide photographer. The tour took us off the tourist area and showed us a bit of everyday life and history

Mikki was our guide, and was so easy to be around and open to all 9 tourists. She had truly studied the geography and history of Ketchikan, along with providing simple and effective photographic tips. We had cell phones while several people had fancy telephoto cameras, and Mikki mingled with all. We loved the variety of our destinations, but especially Totem Park. The coconut/macadamia nut/chocolate chip cookies were an unexpected delicious treat. "Oh, Mikki, you're so fine" is a song lyric that applied to this excellent guide, driver, and photographer!

Fantastic opportunity to visit iconic Ketchikan and several off the beaten path locations. Photo guide Brock, has a wealth of local knowledge and the ability to connect with people. The group size was perfect for learning and practicing new techniques. There were many locations and opportunities to explore during our trip.

Not at all what i expected. It should be titled helpful tips to use the camera on your phone. I was expecting them to take us to some awesome places to take pictures. Knowing what I now know I wouldn’t go if it were free.

Lots of great sites, but I would have loved to see more wildlife. Actually, I’d been to the totem pole park before, so unfortunately didn’t have much desire for additional photos there (and we spent a substantial amount of the time there). Randy’s photography tips were great and useful, but, as i’m sure you heard before, I would love to have had more.
