We will pick you up outside the Cruise Terminal in La Spezia and drive to Pisa, right by the famous Leaning Tower! Here you will have time to explore the Miracles' Square and take pictures of this amazing building. You can also climb the tower ( tickets are not included and will have to be purchased directly on spot ) Get ready for an amazing day out!

Lucca

After Pisa we will start to drive to Lucca across the Tuscan countryside. Once in Lucca you will have free time to stroll around the city for pictures and shopping! Get you camera ready, Lucca is simply stunning!

Montecarlo

Around lunch time we will leave Lucca to head to the famous Tuscany Countryside to visit a local and family owned winery for a delicious lunch and wine tasting! Get ready for an amazing experience! ( Lunch and wine tasting will have to be paid directly on spot approx 50/60 Euro per person )

We were expecting to have time in Pisa as that was the highlight of the tour. Our driver asked if we would like to have lunch at a winery which we said was ok. He did not disclose that the lunch would be charged at the end at $50 euros for each person. We were at the winery for 2 hours which only left us 30 minutes for Pisa. We were not told we would need tickets to go to Pisa. So we were very disappointed. I would not recommend this tour it is a scam. The driver was also unsafe and we clocked him at 99mph. We did not feel safe. We were expecting much more from this tour and was very disappointed. We felt the driver was invested in the winery and pushed us towards that for lunch.

We met Val at the port of Livorno for a tour of Pisa and Lucca. He was so much more than just a driver....he was an excellent tour guide. He gave us options as to where we wanted to go and we left it totally up to him and he did not disappoint. After a stop at the Leaning Tower...we headed off to Lucca..learning so much from his commentary along the drive. He gave us great directions on walking around Lucca and suggested a wonderful outside cafe for lunch, where we encouraged him to join us. On the way back to the ship, we stopped at a fabulous winery for a tasting. The wine was so good that we ended up having a case shipped home. During our ride, we mentioned that we were taking his company the next day for a Cinque Terre tour....and he worked it out so he could meet us the next morning. Not only did he give us a great tour of the different areas....he even hiked the mountains with us...showing us all of the perfect scenic views. I would highly recommend Val if your travels take you to the Tuscany region....he well exceeded our expectations! To top this off....Val is just a great person to be around.
