We wanted to go for a run and found out about Sergio’s running tours. I wish we had found it earlier because we got to go all around Porto, discover all its beautiful places and enjoy so many different views. It would have been great to do it on the first day, so that we could get a grasp on how to get around and all the different neighborhoods. Sergio is a great guide, we really loved the way he passionately explained all the history of Porto. If you enjoy a morning run and are visiting Porto, you shouldn’t miss out!!

On my last day in Porto I decided to do this tour and I contacted them via whatsapp: the booking procedure was quick and easy! They also provided all the covid-19 related protocols and information, which made me feel safer. The tour is individual, so the spots are really limited. I guess I was lucky to find an available tour with such a short notice, but I would advice to book in advance , so that you can be sure to do the tour on the day you prefer. The running experience was really great! We started from Aliados and ran through the Luis I bridge right at the time of the sunrise, so the view was amazing! Perfect timing! Since the tour is individual, you can run at the pace you prefer and stop for pictures whenever you want! Also, while running, there is a very interesting explanation of the history of Porto, plus answers to any question you may have about the city! At the end, we ran 8 km in 2 hours, which was the right pace for me! (you can ran faster if you want/can) I really recommend this experience! And if you still have doubt, you can contact them, they are super helpful!

The best option to get to know the port and run at the same time. Even being Portuguese and knowing something of Porto, taking this tour was the best decision to make my morning jogging perfect. Running, visiting secret places in Porto and learning more about its history was perfect

I am training for a half marathon and was worried when I realized that my (scheduled) longest training run coincided with my vacation to Portugal. Despite my best intentions, I am just not disciplined enough to run more than a few miles on my own while on vacation, which is where Porto Running Tours and Sergio came to the rescue. I found Porto Running Tours on TripAdvisor and reserved a 17 km custom running tour a couple of weeks before my trip. Sergio was accommodating (fulfilled my request for a flat route and to take a walking break on the one hilly section), friendly, and knowledgeable (I learned interesting facts about Porto’s buildings and Portugal’s history). Sergio has excellent English and is passionate about running and his running tours. Not only did I complete my long training run feeling strong (Sergio’s pacing helped), but I also had an opportunity to see a part of Porto that I would not have otherwise visited. This was my first running tour, but it will definitely not be my last.

I am currently training for the NYC marathon and while traveling in Porto needed to maintain my training scheduled so I decided to do a 15 mile run with Porto Running tours. I am so happy that I did! I had a private tour with Sergio and we ran through old city, past the soccer stadium, to the park, and then along the ocean back by the Ribeira Square and bridges. I highly recommend this company to anyone who wants to explore the city of Porto! Sergio was wonderful to run alongside and I learned a lot about the history and culture of Porto! This definitely beats sitting on a tour bus!! If you are looking for an active way to explore Porto this tour is the one to do!

I had a wonderful running tour with Sergio early in the morning on a recent trip. Sergio was very friendly and had a lot of history to share with me along the way. He made sure we hit all of the top spots (and I mean top - get ready for some hills!) and the views were stunning. And, at the end, he sends you a video of your run. What a nice bonus. I can't recommend this tour more. One of the best I have taken!

We've only been in Portugal a couple of days but I already think this will be a highlight of our trip. Running is a brilliant way to see the city and Sergio was a great guide. We did the coffee and nata tour: as well as some great history of coffee in the city and visits to some beautiful old coffee house buildings, the tour packed in plenty of general history and sights too. If we were here for longer I think we'd book another tour! Highly recommend.

We did the coffee&nata running tour with Sérgio and loved all of it! The tempo during runs is nice and high, and during the stops you get a chance to catch your breath and learn more about the city of Porto! We had 2 bigger stops for coffee, one of which included fresh pastel de nata. Our guide knew much about the different sites we passed and had many interesting facts on the way as well. We highly recommend this way of sightseeing

The sunrise run was awesome and Sergio was nice enough to get started 30 minutes early so we had very little traffic and noise. He was very informative with the history behind the sites we visited while still keeping a good running pace. His enthusiasm for the stories was infectious and made me interested to learn more about Porto's history. It was also nice to receive a brief video of our run. I'd highly recommend this as a way to see the city.

Als je van hardlopen houd en Porto bezoekt, is dit een eigenlijk MUST! Super leuke mooie ervaring. Je komt op plekken die je wellicht zelf niet ziet of weet en daarnaast weet de guide Sergio heel veel te vertellen! Aanrader dus
