    Daphne was a pleasant tour guide with excellent command of the english language She told interesting stories of the lives of some of the most famous deceased souls in Pere Lachaise cemetery. I would highly recommend her tour

    Very disappointing tour because there was none. 40 minutes before the tour was to start the operator canceled stating the cemetery would close due to weather. We had traveled across town which cost a total of €40. The weather was cold…54° but no rain or storm. People walked freely among the cemetery. I don’t know what weather our guide was talking about. Again, very disappointing and would like compensation.

    Daphné our tour guide made this a memorable morning. She had interesting and sometimes funny stories about the cemetery and the graves that we saw. We visited the celebrities as well as the moving World War II and holocaust monuments. Daphné had a wealth of historical knowledge as well as a delightful personality. I highly recommend taking a tour with her.
