Introduction

What to expect?

During this 4-hour workshop, you will begin by gluing together wooden slats of various species such as oak, beech, ash, chestnut, and walnut, to create your very own aperitif board. While the board is drying, Philippe will guide you in cutting and assembling the plates for the handle of the knife, allowing you to select the blade of your choice. Using rasps and sanding papers of different grits, you will shape the handle and secure it with brass assembly rivets. The board and knife will then be cleaned, sanded, and given the finishing touches of oiling and varnishing.
