The Three Sisters

There's a magical, yet captivating story behind popular The Three Sisters rock formation in Katoomba, involving a folklore of three sisters that had fallen in love with three brothers but were forbidden to marry. The Three Sisters is a scenic attraction of three distinct cliffs that was formed by land erosion over 200 million years ago during the Triassic period. This site was eroded over time by wind, rain and rivers, causing the cliffs surrounding the Jamison Valley to be slowly broken up, forming the three cliffs, or Three Sisters.

Cahill's Lookout

This fantastic lookout is not on the bus loop and has been recently redesigned, so it feels quite luxurious! It’s easily accessible and it offers beautiful views over the Megalong Valley, on the other side of the Narrow Neck Plateau.

Our guide and driver Joseph, made the day. Very knowledgeable and professional as well as being a genuinely nice guy. The trip was wonderful even though the weather did not cooperate on a number of planned stops. Joseph was very flexible and made the best of it for us. The scenic park with the incline and tram was well worth the time to stop and enjoy. Long day but hey Australia is big! Perfect arrival for pickup on time.

Pictures cannot capture all the amazing places in the Blue Mountains you need to experience them in person. And there is no better way than with a private tour there! Our guide Joseph (Mo) was unbelievable. Incredible knowledge and a genuine passion for the Blue Mountains. He even allowed for a couple of extra personal stops on our way back to our accommodations! Way to go Mo!!!

All the Beautiful views. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and very friendly . This was definitely one of the highlights of our Australian visit.

Joseph our driver was great. He provided a vast amount of information and some of his own pictures (since it was somewhat foggy the day we went). We thoroughly enjoyed our day at the Blue Mountains; we also had a few impromptu stops, which Joseph expertly handled. Couldn’t ask for a better guide and/or tour experience.

Joseph did a fantastic job. He was very professional, knowledgeable and assisting. Family was very pleased with the tour. We would recommend Joseph for future tours. Went to locations tour buses could not go. Views were spectacular.

Priscila_Alberti

The tour was really nice. Joseph is kind and we had a great experience. The tour was also flexible, as it was raining and we choose do some things different. I highly recommend this experience.

Muz and Joseph are both wonderful! They both put in extra time and effort to customized our tour to meet our every hope. It ended up being 11 hours and was beyond fabulous: very informative about history and culture, the geology, animals and natural features. They added Featherdale and the Koala Kinder Experience along with Scenic World and the impressive look out points in the Blue Mountains. Joseph never rushed us and thoroughly explained what we were seeing. The conversations were so interesting and enjoyable! He even drove us by several great restaurants and areas near our hotel that we could explore on our own the next day. We had a great time thanks to Muz and Joseph! Thank you both so much! Great knowledge and friendly service! They are the BEST!

Unbelievable day! Joseph picked us up promptly in a very comfortable car for my husband's height and weight. He was full of information and facts about Australia and the Blue Mountains. Pleasant, smart and funny! Accommodated our every need. We made the day what we wanted: saw several areas and lookouts in the Blue Mountains and he created wonderful memories by taking pictures of us. We rode on a tram over the valley and then we enjoyed a delicious lunch at a restaurant suggested by him. We asked lots of questions and Joseph was extremely knowledgeable. My husband had a walker and Joseph was so helpful, getting the walker in and out of the car for him. So kind! We also asked to go to Featherdale, a wildlife sanctuary and he gladly accommodated us. I feel that Joseph was the perfect guide, very flexible during the day as we changed what most likely was a standard tour for us. He even found a place for me to buy batteries. All in all, it was one of the best days ever thanks to Joseph. Highly recommend him! A+++!

Wow! We both loved our full day tour of the Blue Mountains with Joseph. He was an awesome guide, very knowledgable and with a great sense of humor. My husband uses a walker and he quickly understood how our pace of touring would be and quickly accommodated us and helped us. He made many great stops in the Blue Mountains, we rode the cable car across and he even adjusted our schedule so we could see Featherdale Wildlife Park as a friend had recommended it. It was a glorious day all around. He took us also to a nice restaurant so we could have lunch. Joseph's English was perfect and I recommend him for any kind of tour, for young or older like us. Joseph was also a very good driver and we had a lot of fun understanding the driving laws and laws in general in Australia. I highly recommend Joseph for his enthusiasm, energy, knowledge and sense of fun. A++++!!! We just love Viator and each tour we have taken with them has been superb. Thank you!

Rebecca_V

We had a great time on this tour. My husband has a prosthetic leg, and our guide Joseph was very accommodating. He went above and beyond to make sure that we could see as much as possible without overdoing it. Joseph was very knowledgeable about the area and its history. One thing that I especially appreciated was the communication ahead of time. Top notch tour. I highly recommend it!
