My friend and I had truly the best time with the Aurora Sleighers! We spent our first night in Fairbanks doing this snowmobiling tour, and got so lucky with the show of a lifetime from the northern lights. It was our first time snowmobiling and though we were anxious at first, you really end up getting the hang of it. They make stops so you can watch the lights - it’s beautiful. A recommendation - go to the bathroom before you get there. They only have an outhouse. And maybe bring some hand/feet warmers if you get cold easily. Our guides were great and very personable. We felt safe and would’ve happily done another tour if we had the time.

Had such a great experience! We had two tour guides who were super friendly and knowledgeable. This was my first time snowmobiling and I was a bit nervous at first, but ended up loving it! We stopped at two spots to see the northern lights, with the second stop being the most magical and vibrant. It is a long ride and it does get very cold at night, but it’s so worth it! Dress warm and take a nap before you go, and you’re all set!

Awesome experience, Jeremy is a rockstar guide!! Getting an Uber there and back was tricky because it was peak tourist season but it worked out for us. We went on an unforgettable tour and it was absolutely the highlight of our trip. Jeremy called us prior to the tour to let us know it would be too cloudy to see the aurora, and gave us the opportunity to reschedule. It was our last night in town so we decided to go for it and ended up being the only two at the tour. Even without the aurora it was a blast and I can't recommend the experience enough. Thanks for a fabulous time, Jeremy!!! We had an absolute blast exploring with you!

What an amazing adventure! It was chilly but I was prepared with a lot of layers. Fingers and toes were the hardest to keep warm so bring heat packs. Our guide Josh was great! We did get to see the northern lights! Highly recommend!

Just the whole experience of being in the Alaskan wilderness. Ian was an awesome guide and I truly enjoyed the adventure. Unfortunately the weather didn’t allow us to see the lights clearly but I still had a blast and look forward to coming back next winter and trying again. It’s my mission to see them. The moon was stunning to see.

Josh was an amazing guide. He certainly gave us the full snowmobile experience. From helping me to secure my helmet, to giving me his hand wamer, to being genuinely excited for us to experience the northern lights. Fabulous!!!!Thanks for the photos too Josh!

Our snow machine tour operator, Josh, was PHENOMENAL! We had a great time zooming the off road trails and then were so lucky to experience the amazing aurora! He gave us a lot of great information about Fairbanks and nature and was so easy going… all first time snow machine operators in our party. This is a great way to see the raw beauty of the dark nights in Alaska. This is truly a MUST do experience if you come to Fairbanks.

SO MUCH FUN!!!! What an epic idea to pair northern lights hunting with snow machines!!!! My partner and I loved this experience so much! Unfortunately, we didn’t get to see the northern lights this time, but it definitely didn’t hamper our experience at all. Our guide was really helpful in trying to help us find an ideal night that worked with our schedule. We had originally booked a Friday night but he recommended changing to the Saturday to increase our chances of seeing the Aurora. Even though we didn’t have any luck, he was absolutely right that it was a better night to be out on the snow machines as we had clear skies and beautiful views of the moon and stars. It was great that there was the option to be a passenger if you weren’t comfortable driving. My boyfriend drove and I was the passenger on our two person snow machine. We were able to enjoy the trails together which looked like a magical winter wonderland. When we got to a clearing, everyone was able to drive as fast and as wild as they wanted to. Which was so so fun!!! We really appreciated all of the extra layers and snow gear that we were provided with. It was under -20 C on the night we went out so it was very very cold but we were well dressed and coped well in the temperatures for 2.5 hours. Such a cool experience!! Definitely recommend.

Great way for five friends visiting Fairbanks to see the Lights. Our personable guide helped us put on our elaborate gear, a combo of what we brought with us supplemented by the even warmer gear they provided. None of us had ever driven snowmobiles before so we were a bit apprehensive, but we were given instructions and it was actually very easy. A great ride through the snowy night with stops at several locations to watch the light, plus some hot chocolate. Wonderful time!
