We gathered in Sydney to celebrate our 25th year of “friend-versary”. Myself from Perth & the other two flew in from Bali & Hong Kong. We are very impressed with Scott’s knowledge of history & experience of Blue Mountains areas. He introduced our overseas friends with the best Kangaroo pies, delicious food & fabulous wine. We even spotted Kangaroos in the wild who were soon hopped away when we shouted “we ate your cousins!”. We can’t thank Scott enough for taking us on tour on his birthday! Blue Mountains is a very magical place indeed & the secret route of Megalong Valley is just breathtaking. We highly recommend this tour guide for your Sydney’s sightseeing. Thank you Scott! Terima kasih.

This is an amazing experience! Our guide Charlie was very knowledgeable and friendly. We were able to see many of the popular sites before they got too crowded, including the wildlife park, which made it feel like a private experience. We had a lovely farm to table lunch, did some local shopping, and even spotted some kangaroos in the Blue Mountains :) Would definitely recommend!

I can’t say enough about how wonderful our day with Scott was. Yes, the Blue Mountains, Three Sisters, and waterfalls are what we booked to see, but Scott’s personality, articulate intelligence, attention to detail, and suggestions about where we could go off the beaten path are what made the day beyond special. He has a connection to a beautiful winery where we ate lunch and enjoyed delicious wine (no one there but us, so peaceful). We were never in a crowded touristy spot and yet saw all the important landmarks. He is so easy and enjoyable to be around and on a long day such as this, that is truly important. We had the added luck of a second guide, Camilla who was learning from Scott and is a lovely person. If you look at other Blue Mountain tour itineraries you will see they all appear to be cookie-cutter tours, stopping at the exact same spots. Scott probably would have done exactly the same if we wanted, but why do that? His listing suggested an itinerary that was more unique than the others but still hit the spots one must see. This is why we chose him. We couldn’t have been more delighted. Thank you Scott. Truly.

Booking our tours with Your Sydney Guide has been a wonderful experience! From the start when we were just figuring out the itinerary for Blue Mountain and Hunter Valley, Scott has been helpful with his advice on how to best plan our day. It is a customizable tour so all we had to do was tell him what we wanted to do and where we wanted to go. On the day of the tour itself, Scott was early to pick us up and had prepared lots of snacks and water to make sure our car ride was as comfortable as possible. Throughout the trip he shared many interesting stories and facts about the places we were passing. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would definitely look for him again when we're back in Sydney!

First of all...Americans-don’t let the media discourage your travel plans to Sydney over the fires. So glad we didn’t cancel or postpone our trip We had an exemplary day with our tour guide, Charlie. He was extremely knowledgeable, hysterical and very entertaining. Had a wonderful visit to the Blue Mountains and to Dryridge Estate Winery. In the morning it was foggy but we had a pleasant stroll through scenic world. Charlie was kind enough to stop back for a view once the fog had cleared so we could see the 3 sisters. It was stunning. Charlie also knew we wanted to see kangaroos in their natural habitat, so he went out of his way for us to view them. The van was comfortable and clean and Scott was great to work with when planning this tour. This company gets 2 thumbs up. Would definitely book with them again when returning to Sydney.

Our trip was fantastic. We had originally chosen to go on a Hunter Valley wine tour with Scott, but he recommended the Southern Highlands, for a closer distance and better scenery along with great wines. He could not have been more right! The day of there were also brushfires and traffic accidents on the way north so the choice was spot on. Scott was a wonderful guide. He was friendly and had great information and stories about the areas we visited along the way and the wineries, but he also gave us space for a romantic lunch alone. It was the perfect balance. The trip could not have been more perfect and we would not hesitate to take a tour with Scott again!

Having brought thirteen American family members over to Sydney for our wedding, my wife and I were looking to show them a bit of Australia outside of the city. After sorting through a dozen different tour options, I finally settled on Your Sydney Guide, and booked the Private Blue Mountains and Winery Day Trip. I'm so glad I did, because the entire day out was amazing. Scott picked us up directly from the hotel in a comfortable and private bus just for the group. We spent a great morning at Featherdale Wildlife Preserve, before visiting an amazing vista in the Megalong Valley. The views were absolutely breathtaking, and Scott had picked an uncrowded spot off the beaten path, where we could enjoy the calm and beauty of the Blue Mountains. Afterwards, we had the chance to visit Dry Ridge Winery for a completely private picnic lunch and wine tasting! The views were also incredible at the winery as well, and the lunch (picked up on the way from a great little deli) was delicious. The family could not stop raving about the day, and it was one of the highlights of their stay in Sydney. It was truly an unforgettable experience and I cannot recommend Scott and Your Sydney Guides enough!

You have to hire Scott as your sydney guide. He knows about everything, including birds, trees, kangaroos, wines and etc. You will be able to experience Sydney, Blue Mountains in depth, from lots of different perspectives with Scott. He is very professional and also friendly. I feel like I now have an Austrailian older brother I never knew before. I was the one who paying him, but ironically with his superb service, I feel I owe him. He is that good!!

Spent two days on tours with Scott and had a wonderful time both days. We did the Blue Mountains day trip first, followed the next day by a Southern Highlands Winery tour. Both were terrific and the highlights of our time in Sydney. Highly recommend!
