What to expect
Featherdale Sydney Wildlife Park
At Featherdale Wildlife Park, we get close and personal with hundreds of native Australian wildlife: kangaroos, koalas, wallabies, wombats, emus, penguins, dingoes, snakes, crocodiles, birds etceteras. We aim to arrive early, so we have the Park to ourselves before the crowds get here!
Blue Mountains
The Blue Mountains Drive (BMD) is a scenic drive along the Jamison Valley, passing many lookouts.
Wentworth Falls Lookout
Start of a 1.5 to 2 hour circuit walk in the Jamison Valley (pending on the weather and guests' fitness). Alternative walks visit the Leura Cascades.
The Three Sisters
Iconic sight of that part of the Blue Mountains.
Cahill's Lookout
Offering the best views onto Narrowneck, Boars Head and the Megalong Valley.
Pulpit Rock Lookout
One of the best views of the Blue Mountains NP, offering spectacular views over the Grose Valley. Another great lookout is offered from Anvil Rock. This lookout is a little easier to walk to (less steps).
The Blue Mountains Botanic Garden
On the scenic Bell's Line of Road, AKA the Botanist Way, we visit the beautiful Botanical Gardens of Mt Tomah. A chance to see plenty of exotic plants and... birds! Eastern Spinebills, New Holland Honey Eaters. Satin Bowerbirds, Crimson Rosella's, Australian King Parrots, Kookaburra's, Wattlebirds and Superb Fairy Wren are regular visitors of the gardens.
Hawkesbury River
The scenic Botanist Way takes us past the orchards along the Hawkesbury, AKA the fruitbowl of NSW. Past the Macquarie towns of Windsor and Richmond we take the tollroads to reach Sydney hassle-free.
The experience can be subject to change due to bad weather or unforseen circumstances. We always endeavour to give you the best possible experience.
