Lucy was an incredible tour guide. We were lucky .. it was a cold, wet day in Cardiff and we were the only members of her tour group that day, so we got a personalized tour of Cardiff! Lucy started by asking what we were hoping for in our tour, and when I explained that I was of Welsh descent and was hoping to simply get a better idea of the history and culture of Wales, Lucy sat us down and talked us through its amazing history. We toured the grounds of the Castle (and went inside later on our own), visited some of the Arcades (shopping areas) and the Cardiff Market where Lucy introduced us to Welsh cakes (so delicious!). We visited the National Museum of Art and toured some of the public buildings since I love old architecture. And every where we went, Lucy was full of information about the history of that location. We got sidetracked a bit by Dr. Who references, which was fun, and all in all we very much enjoyed our few hours with Lucy. We learned so much more than we would have had we attempted to tour Cardiff on our own.

My wife and I joined another couple on this tour in September 2023. We had a terrific time and we highly recommend Lucy as a tour guide. We got a perfectly splendid mix of ancient and modern history and we were inspired to go back to the mall for shopping and to the grounds for the castle tour. Lucy's pace, flexibility and delivery were perfect for us.

We stumbled across Lucy by chance and so glad we did. Although we are fairly local to Cardiff, Lucy made the tour very interesting and informative. We discovered many new things and a lot of history about Cardiff centre even though we had visited many times previously. I would highly recommend Lucy as a tour guide and this tour would make a fabulous gift for a close friend or loved one, even if you're local and think you know Cardiff.
