Our driver David was very nice and gave us a ghost tour of the city. His horse Gem and dog Indy were very sweet. Great price compared to the competition.

The driver was very friendly and knowledgeable about the history of Chattanooga. He answered all of our questions. Well worth it.

My father has always wanted to take his bride of 64 years on a carriage ride - so we surprised them. From Chattanooga Horse and Carriage Tour, I received a prompt response when I requested accessibility information to see if the carriage ride was even possible as well as a time slot available to meet a larger groups' needs. With 7 in our party, Mandy, Sadie, and Dewey greeted us in fine fashion - taking great pictures of our memory-making moment. The carriage was set low enough for a person who is able to climb in to an SUV to ride comfortably. Dewey was calm, cool, and collected amid tourists and cars. Sadie was relaxed in true puppy contentment. And, Mandy! What a warm and wonderful guide of Dewey and our crew. Many thanks for the dear memories and making a 64th Anniversary pure delight.

Our driver Mandy was wonderful and very engaging. My wife and her shared mutual stories about horses. Shared local history and we enjoyed the ride immensely.

This has now become the Wilsons annual thing to do while visiting downtown Chattanooga! My family of three had visited Chattanooga for Father's Day last year and decided to do it again this year since we had such a good time. We decided to bring our Yorkie for this year's trip but really looked forward to riding on a carriage tour again with Mr. David and Moose. We arrived on Friday night and after grabbing dinner on Saturday, I emailed the Chattanooga Horse Trams to inquire about their Pet Policy. We received a prompt response from Mr Corey, thankfully he advised that we could bring our pet on the ride and he was also able to schedule our reservation for that evening! Last year we did the 30 minute ride, this year we chose the 60 minute ride. We were thrilled that we lucked up again with Mr David as he was training Megan (on her 2nd day) to drive us around and giving us all sorts of history lessons. This time the amazing "Gem" pulled us along the downtown streets from one end to the other (ask Mr David about her interesting background). Another top notch ride by Chattanooga Horse Trams, even our pup enjoyed the sights. We received outstanding and professional service from start to finish!

A must on your travel list! David our driver was so knowledgeable on Chattanooga history as well as entertaining with his humor. Moose, his liver spotted pup so friendly and Gem pulled the carriage with no distractions. Truly a Gem! Make sure you book a carriage ride and the longer the better!

Ahhhhh the childhood me would be losing her mind right now if she know our wedding getaway car would be a horse drawn carriage! Our driver, Kristin, was awesome and so sweet. She knew the perfect mix of interacting with us and hearing about our wedding, while also giving us some time to talk to one another. Kristin and Dewy (Pinto) arrived at our venue The Turnbull around 8:30/8:45, waited for our sparkler exit to be done, and then pulled around the corner for our exit. We then enjoyed a beautiful 20 minute ride to The Edwin on the other side of town. I'm not entirely sure what was my favorite part, but it is probably the fact that after we arrived at the hotel, Kristin happily took loads of photos of me and my husband spending time with Dewy! I'm going to cherish those photos forever. Thank you so much Horse Trams for being the perfect end to our perfect day!

Chattanooga horse trams is the only way to see Chattanooga after sunset. After a day at the aquarium we finished off the evening by picking up the horse drawn carriage right at the entrance to the aquarium. We chose the hour long option and even had time to stop for ice cream halfway. Joe and Kristen were excellent guards and the whole family fell in love with her horse Dewy. It’s clear that the staff love and take care of these animals we learned a lot about the history of Chattanooga in the role of draft horses. The staff is friendly the cost is reasonable the journey is unsurpassed relaxation we were even dropped off at the front door of our local hotel. If you’re in Chattanooga and you want to see the downtown there’s no better way to view it then buy a horse drawn carriage and we highly recommend the fine people at Chattanooga Horse Trams.

We visited Chattanooga for a quick Father's Day weekend trip with nothing really planned... except to relax. We arrived on Friday and while getting dinner I saw a horse carriage near our downtown hotel. I did a quick search on the Internet and found Chattanooga Horse Trams, so glad I did! My husband loves horses so this was the perfect surprise as an activity on Saturday evening. It was very easy to make a reservation for our family of 3, nothing but professional customer service from start to finish. With a few hours to schedule events for my family that day, after lunch I secretly made our reservation... they were able to get us on the schedule for that evening at 6:30pm which was perfect! We did the 30 minute ride and thoroughly enjoyed our driver Mr David. His dog Moose sat up front on the bench while Johnny (beautiful horse) pulled the carriage. Even though it was a little rain, we were very comfortable and dry during the ride....we will certainly look to do the carriage ride when we visit again - hopefully my family reunion will be hosted in Chattanooga next year, we'd love to have our other relatives meet Mr David, Moose and Johnny! Thanks for the great experience, it was a family first for us.

It has been a few months since we took this horse carriage ride but we are still talking about how great this little tour added to our weekend. It was our 25th Anniversary and we stayed at the Amazing Reed House Hotel, our first night there I had confirmed the carriage ride and they picked us up at the hotel. It was a surprise so I told my wife that the Valet said to meet us out the front entrance, we walked out and the car wasn't there. She started asking staff and they said we were at the wrong entrance. I kept telling her no, they said this entrance. I kept looking out and saw the carriage pulling up and said it was here. She walked out and didn't see it so I told her we were not taking the car... She almost started crying. The tour took us to one of our favorite restaurants and dropped us off then picked us up to take us back to the hotel. The city was beautiful and the ride was too notch, we are planning on going back this fall and yes, I will be in contact with Chattanooga Horse Trams. They made our weekend extra special and I can't wait to see them again soon. Just wish I had taken more pictures 🙃
