Old Aberdeen

Old Aberdeen is a myriad of buildings and streets dating back to the 15th Century. Highlights include King's College Old Town House and St Machar's Cathedral.

Dunnottar Castle

One of Scotland's and the worlds most spectacular castles, Dunnottar is a ruined medieval fortress located upon a rocky headland near Stonehaven. Kinneff Old Church

The famous Kinneff Old Church is where the “Scotland’s Honours” (a crown, sword and sceptre dating from the 15th century) were hidden in 1651. Oliver Cromwell had besieged the castle in an attempt to acquire them, but they had been smuggled out by a minister’s wife pretending to gather seaweed. A amazing but rarely seen part of Scottish History.
