We did the private walking tour of the Tower of London, St Paul’s Cathedral, and the Churchill War rooms. Gavin was our wonderful leader. We learned so much, rode the tube and a bus, and were introduced to new foods. It was a long day but one I highly recommend especially with Gavin as your guide.

Our family booked a walking tour and a private pub tour for the adults. Our guide Mike was incredibly knowledgeable and personable. His local knowledge, encyclopedic grasp of historical facts and witty humorous banter made for a very fun and memorable experience. I can't recommend him enough.

We had an incredible day tour with Gavin. Born and raised in London, he was a wealth of information and knew every alley of the city. He was an absolute joy and his knowledge of everything we saw was incredible. We walked from our hotel to the Tower of London - on the way he showed us many old sights of London and pointed out some locations where Harry Potter was filmed, which wasn't part of our tour. We then took a black cab to Westminster Abbey where he continued to be an excellent tour guide. He chose an amazing place for us to have lunch (a traditional pub) before we headed to the Churchill War Rooms. Again, his knowledge was detailed and well delivered. He was simply amazing and everything about this tour was excellent, I couldn't recommend it highly enough.

My daughter and I recently did a “London Highlights Private Tour”. Liz was our tour guide and was wonderful and extremely knowledgeable. We were able to tweak our itinerary on the fly to add and skip stops to suit us. We opted for a taxi from the Marriott County Hall to the Tower of London to save time, walked everywhere else but chose to ride the Tube once since we hadn’t yet, and finished with Westminster Abbey. My Apple Watch distance was higher because we walked more after the tour, but I’d guess we walked about 5 miles on the tour. Very doable because it was broken up. We wanted to see and learn about London, but also wanted a casual, flexible day. Liz gave us exactly that!

The best thing was traveling by bus and Underground. We toured the Tower and Westminster. 9 year old was primed and enjoyed it.

We toured the Westminster Abby and the Tower of London. Our guide, Mark, was fantastic. He was incredibly detailed in his work xplanation and knowledge of historical facts and fiction, which was great. He was both informative and entertaining for us all, including our kids, age 15, 12, and 9. So those are tough ages to keep involved, and he did so expertly. We had a great time and saw all the touristy things of London, which was great a once in lifetime event for our kids.

We did a family trip to London and the only thing we had planned for the week was the Harry Potter Warner Brothers tour. I contacted Gio and he planned the entire week for us. Two walking tours around London, day trip to Stonehenge and Bath, day trip to Windsor Castle and Hampton Court and airport pickup and return. We stayed at the Marriott County Hall because of location and my Platinum status. Great location within walking distance of sites and restaurants. Due to my status we also received free breakfast as well as Lounge access for free drinks and snacks. We did not have to really think much on this trip. Our guides met us at our hotel lobby and we were off from there. Lunch locations were prearranged (we paid at time of service) and all sites were already prepaid so no standing in line. I tried to arrange the trip myself reading suggestions online but I wanted VIP service where point a to point b was covered for me. Highly recommend Private London Tours! By the way I found them through AMEX Platinum Travel. They gave me 3 companies and after receiving proposals Private London Tours offered the best package….and I only did this less than 2 weeks before our trip! All guides are Blue Badge certified. BIG shout out to Gavin and Mike. Those two were fantastic!!
