Built between 2850-2200 BC, this is the largest stone circle in Britain, which also contains two smaller inner stone circles. Afterward, we will stop nearby to admire Silbury Hill, the largest artificial mound in Britain and the purpose of which still remains unknown. This mysterious chalk mound is roughly the same height and volume as the Egyptian pyramids, which were built at roughly the same time. Walk to the top and savour the views if you still have the energy. Here is the time it will take to get from one place to another

Cherhill White Horse and Monument

En route back to Bath we will pass by the Cherhill White Horse, carved into the chalk hillside nearly 250 years ago. This is a great photo opportunity. Cherhill to Bath transfer time - 1 hour
