This fantastic lookout is not on the bus loop and has been recently redesigned, so it feels quite luxurious! It’s easily accessible and it offers beautiful views over the Megalong Valley, on the other side of the Narrow Neck Plateau.

We spent 32 days traveling Australia and New Zealand, seeing, and doing so many amazing tours, and ended our stay with this one! And it did not disappoint! Beginning with our planning stage months in advance, they were quick to answer all inquiries and provide recommendations. In the end we agreed to spend the day at Featherdale Zoo (their recommendation) and then onto Blue Mountain and visiting towns and sights along the way. The day could not have been better, including the weather. It was very pleasant to spend the day with Joseph, who was very informative and attentive. We never felt rushed, we spent as much time as we wanted at the different venue, and never felt like we were “on the clock” sort to speak as many tour guides make you feel. Featherdale is a must-see zoo! We feel like we have seen every zoo & sanctuary in AUS and NZ, loved them all, and yet this one was our favorite. The blue mountains are spectacular as we expected, and Joseph made sure we saw them from every lookout point. The weather made it extra fantastic. We walked the entire boardwalk of the rainforest, took the cable car, sky car, and the railway options to view the sights. We opted against stopping for lunch and instead continuing with the sights. The car ride was long to the mountains & back but the vehicle was clean and comfortable. Water was available to us. We arranged pick up and drop off at our hotel at the airport and Jospeh was on time at 9am and dropped us off at 6pm. All in all, a great day and a fantastic way to end our month-long visit. We returned to the US early the next day fully satisfied that we saw all we needed to see to end our AUS visit. Again, we could not have asked for a more pleasant last day. I would highly recommend this group!

Wow - what a fantastic tour and an even better tour guide. Joseph was the best tour guide we could have asked for. He was super knowledgeable and knew so much about the history of all the places we visited and drove through. His suggestions for both lunch and dinner were phenomenal and both of us felt like we were on a trip with a friend. Hats off to Joseph!!

This tour is hands down the best! Joseph was FABULOUS from start to finish. The communication with the owner was unmatched. This tour was the perfect mix of wildlife and scenery in Sydney. Our experience in Sydney was above and beyond because of this company and I cannot recommend them enough.

travelerdi

Joseph was the best guide we have ever had! He explained all of the native animals and the various stops at Blue Mountain. It felt like we spent the day with a friend! The highlight for us was feeding the kangaroo at Featherdale! Plus getting the Kola picture was awesome! We highly recommend this to everyone who visits Sydney

We spent a wonderful day with Joseph on this tour. He was so welcoming, knowledgeable, and kind. He knew great places for photos and was happy to customize our tour to our preferences, stop when we wanted, etc. The Featherdale Zoo was phenomenal and the vistas in the Blue Mountains breathtaking. A note if you're booking during a school holiday time: Because our tour was right before Christmas, Scenic World was very busy and lines were quite long. In hindsight, we would have skipped that part of the day as we spent more than an hour waiting in lines. Of course, none of this was anything that Joseph of WizeTrips could control and we wholeheartedly recommend this tour!

We paid too much money for a driver to drive and drop us off at a zoo plus do the same at a tourist trap town in the Blue Mountains. The weather fogged the mountains in and we couldn’t see a darn thing…while not the fault of the operator, for what he charged, there should’ve been a backup plan. Again, he dropped us off and we were on our own. We then went to a park to walk with dinosaurs and take a lift…again, on our own. All in all, the theiry of the trip was good, but the delivery was a waste. All in all, we simply had an expensive driver and nothing more. A complete waste and not worth our time nor our cost.

Joseph was a wonderful tour guide. Highly recommend. The online reservation process worked smoothly. We made our reservation the morning before and had good communication with the company re confirmations and timing.

This trip was amazing! Our tour guide Joseph was just the best! We were allowed to do everything at our own pace which is a luxury in itself. Featherdale Zoo was just perfect, pictures with Koalas (charge) and feeding kangaroos was were exactly what we wanted! The Blue Mountains were breathtaking and Joseph took us to some secluded look out spots with no crowds! It was just an amazing day!

Loved the male Pakistani/Australian tour guide. He was very kind, helpful with taking pictures/videos of us at lookouts, and he was well knowledgeable about everything we saw and gave us advice to get through the Scenic world rides in the short time we had. Thank you so much for your help. We had a great time we will remember forever.

I am so grateful that I booked a private tour. The weather was rainy, so a group tour would have been too inflexible for me to enjoy the Blue Mountains. The day started with a wonderful opportunity to pet a koala and feed kangaroos at the Featherdale Zoo. This was such a treat because I have wanted to meet a koala ever since I was a young child. Then we ventured into the Blue Mountains. Unfortunately, the rain seemed relentless, but my schedule in Australia was too tight for me to reschedule for another day. So we had to take a chance and hope for the best. The Three Sisters were never visible, but the day turned out to be even better than planned. Joseph, the tour guide, wanted to try to make the most of the day, so we searched for a spot to enjoy the views of the Blue Mountains National Park. We lucked out when we ventured down toward a waterfall on a lovely little trail. The scenery was spectacular, and I am so grateful for the flexibility of the private tour. A group tour wouldn’t have allowed me to venture on that beautiful trail, and I ended the day in awe of the wonders of the Blue Mountains. If your time is short, I highly recommend a private tour, which can accommodate unexpected weather conditions in a way that a group tour simply cannot. The day was worth every penny, and I will remember it forever.
