Moorish Fountain Built in 1922, with a project by Master José da Fonseca, the Moorish fountain was built with the aim of enhancing the entrance to the village and “dignifying the most appreciated water in Sintra”. Castelo dos Mouros is a ruined castle nestled among the lush forests of the Serra de Sintra, a privileged spot to admire the view that stretches from Sintra to the sea.
