Our guide, Cédric, was absolutely phenomenal and provided a very informative tour seeing all the best spots in the region. Colmar, Riqewihr, Ribauvillé, Haut-Koenigberg castle, Bergheim for wine tasting with the lovely Mylène at Gustav Lorentz, and Sélestat were the main points of our tour. Highly recommend for small group sizes to get a personalized experience on the Alsatian Wine Route.

Cedric was very accommodating. He contacted me before our trip to confirm our pickup site and what it was we wanted to do on our tour. He arranged lunch and took us to wonderful sights continually checking on us. He was very knowledgeable and personable. It was a day we will never forget.

We spent 2 days with Cedric touring the Alsace Wine Route, He is an extraordinary guide and we had a very pleasant experience. He took our interests seriously and perfectly tailored our itinerary around each and every request. It was not the usual itineraries that all the guides follow, rather it was suited to our tastes and requests. He was very knowledgeable about the area having been born and raised there. His English is perfect and easy to understand. He is patient, calm and very charming. As a local, he knew the owners of the wineries we visited. He brought a platter of cheese, meats and bread so we would not be tasting wines on an empty stomach. He gave us all the time we needed - never rushed us and did not go by the clock - and did not charge us for overtime. When parking was difficult, he dropped us off at the entrance to town before parking. He then met us and walked with us through the town. It was a 5 star experience and he is highly recommended by us.

We arranged a tour with Cédric on short notice and found him very responsive to our preferences. He picked us up promptly at our Colmar hotel and we spent the day exploring a succession of some of the most picturesque villages we have ever seen. Cédric had also arranged for two winemakers otherwise closed Sundays to offer us private tastings. It was fascinating, with Cédric’s translation assistance, to discuss the importance of terroir and to see the winemakers’ passion for their craft. Cédric shared his deep knowledge of wine and the rich history of Alsace throughout the day. Having spent several months in Chicago as an intern with a major American hotel chain, his English is fluent. He also possesses a keen sense of humor and made us feel like special guests rather than merely customers. We will have great memories of our day, and we enthusiastically recommend Cédric’s services.
