Amazing trip to Douro valley. We were picked up and dropped off at our hotel. Travelling with 3 other people making us a group of seven. Lovely spacious air conditioned mini bus. First stop vineyard with lovely wine and port tasting and our guide was friendly and informative. Lunch stop at a family farm with delicious food and more tastings. Finally boat trip on the Douro with snacks and cocktail. Felipe our driver and guide was knowledgeable of the area stopping at some amazing views. He was friendly good fun and made the day a memorable one. Great day all round. Thoroughly recommend this trip

Two friends, a group of 7 people who all became friends. We had an amazing day with our guide Joao and the rest of the group. We felt like we'd been friends for years. I can only say that we loved everything and i recommend you take this tour. I won't tell you any more details so as not to spoil the surprise!

Our day in the Douro was absolutely brilliant. We had the company of a lovely guide who did everything to make us comfortable and make the most of our tour. We loved the family farm where we tasted the wines, we had lunch in a beautiful farmhouse with good food, and we even got to visit the kitchen where they were preparing our lunch. We took a cruise on a small private boat just for our group and were able to drink more and eat some delicacies on board. I wasn't expecting such an incredible excursion!

What a fantastic time we had in the Duoro Valley. Our driver, Filipe, was a most personable and knowledgeable host. He was most accommodating and enabled us to go to some really special spots to take in some amazing vistas across the Douro. We were particularly privileged because we booked a group tour and we were lucky enough to be the only ones in our party! However, Filipe did not make us feel awkward or alone, he was an integral part of our experience and made us really relaxed. Our first wine tasting was a particularly intimate experience and our host there, Beatrice, was so friendly, we even got to climb into a port barrel which was a real treat. The lunch at the next Vineyard was exquisite, surrounded by olive trees, it was a perfect setting for a really special meal. The pairing wines were delicious and the meat was tenderly cooked. We also enjoyed a cruise on a boat down the Douro, accompanied with another port wine. The route home was spectacular. I would thoroughly recommend this trip, it was well worth it. It was the highlight of our visit and we couldn't have done it on our own. Thank you to Filipe and the Wonder tours.

I can only say that it was a memorable day. We saw first-hand the daily life on the estates and how they produce wine in a family way, without industrializing production. I believe this results in better quality wines. We went to lunch at another very simple, family-run farm with its own winery. We loved the homemade food they offered us and we were able to visit the kitchen up close and participate in the preparation of the meals. We stopped a couple of times at beautiful viewpoints and ended our day with a trip on the River Douro, on an exclusive boat just for our group of 7. We were able to drink Port wine and snack on some sweets on board.

We had an incredible day with Filipe, our guide. We started the morning with a visit to a farm, with excellent wines and very traditional, without too much fuss. We went to lunch at another quinta and had another wine tasting. The food was wonderful and typical of the region. We were very well received! We ended our afternoon on an incredible cruise, just for our group and we were able to drink and eat some snacks on board! It was exceptional! I recommend it and it was the best day in Portugal

Outstanding! Our tour driver, Filipe, picked us up on time, went over the plan for the day, with no time wasted, we were on our way. Filipe is a “true” professional driver, very knowledgeable of the Douro wine valley. Driving the wine vineyard roads is not an easy challenge. Filipe always asked if we needed anything, answered our questions the best he could. All in all, the private tour is the only way to completely enjoy the Douro Valley.
