Our accredited guide will drive you to Quinta do Cume, one of our favourite wineries in the region. You will visit the winery in the company of a local guide, learning about the production of the wines. Next, a wine tasting session takes place close from the nature, overlooking the vines.

We may visit D'Origem as an alternative to other wineries and according to its availability. Please let us know in advance if you would like to visit D'Origem before the beginning of the tour.

Lunch takes place at the restaurant Cozinha da Clara at Quinta de La Rosa. The menu will be paired with 3 different DOC Douro wines.

Our clients will have the Douro river as a scenic view by the Douro Valley while partaking the wine tour.

Quinta do Bomfim

After lunch the plan is to take you to visit Quinta do Bonfim. The visit includes a 40 min guided visit where you will be explained about the Port wine production, followed by a tasting of 3 different Ports, overlooking the Douro Valley.

Quinta do Tedo is one of several wineries that we can visit on our tour. During this visit you will learn about the wine-making process of Quinta do Tedo with a local guide. It includes a guided wine tasting session where you will be explained about the different wines to be tasted. On our way out from Douro Valley we pass by the city of Peso da Régua. This is the most populated city of the Douro Valley. It was once an important place of commerce of wine and a growing touristic destination. The Museum of Douro is a local attraction to the visitors of Peso da Régua.

Quinta do Jalloto is one of several wineries that we can visit on our tour. During this visit you will learn about the wine-making process of Quinta do Jalloto with a local guide. It includes a guided wine tasting session where you will be explained about the different wines to be tasted. The Duoro Valley is lovely. The wine tours were informative and delicious. Our tour guide, Barheim, made it an even better trip. He was knowledgeable, fun and a very good driver. We felt well taken care of.

Took a small group tour led by George on Sept 3rd. He was a very good tour guide who shared a lot of information. He made sure everyone was comfortable and enjoyed the trip. The two wineries were a bit different but both equally good in their presentation. Lunch was in Pinhâo. It was a very good meal with three types of meats. Two types of wine were provided and a small glass of Porto. Dessert was delicious. The boat tour was a good break between wine tastings. The meal was top on my list of meals in Portugal. If you are planning a tour in Douro, George is a great choice.

Andrea was fantastic! Her English was great and she was incredibly friendly. She kept us on track in terms of timing so we were able to see a few more cute spots for photos. etc. Food was great and very authentic. Highly recommend!

Douro Valley was incredible. We spent the day visiting wineries, taking a cruise & making new friends. We couldn’t of asked for a more beautiful day. Brahim was our driver and guide. He was amazing every step of the trip. We had our 3 year old with us and she loved Brahim. They provided a car seat and were extremely attentive to our needs. I highly recommend him and the Oporto Road Trips.

This tour (went on Aug 7th) was absolutely amazing, and it wouldn’t have been the same without our tour guide Joāo! Joāo was amazingly kind, extremely knowledgeable and generous with his time. Not only did he provide us with exceptional services and care the entire day, he really made us feel welcomed and appreciated. Joāo also let us purchase an extra bottle of wine at our last tour and let us squeeze in a few more minutes knowing he would end up getting home a little more later than usual. Our group was thoroughly impressed with the service. Now for feedback on the wineries: Overall, the tours were really enjoyable. The views from the Doro Valley were absolutely stunning! The employees at both wineries took the time to explain their processes for making their wine and that was really fun too. Our only complaint was that we thought for the money paid to visit two wineries, the quantities of pours could have been a little more generous. One of the wineries supplied two bottles for our group of 6 to share which was a little underwhelming to say the least… we had to buy a third bottle and felt it could have been offered given the price of these tours. All in all, I would highly recommend this tour to anyone interested. We learned a lot, got to try some amazing wine and had the best tour guide we could ask for. We really enjoyed our day out with Oporto Road Trips. We were picked up from our hotel by our guide Francisco is a small air conditioned minibus. There were 8 people in total on the trip and the bus felt room enough for all of us. Francisco was great, so friendly but really knowledgeable too, giving us info about wine and the local area on our ride to the first vineyard and then on the trips in between. Both vineyards we visited were lovely, the hosts were great and the wine was lovely. The river cruise was really picturesque, you could be outdoors or indoors and it was a big boat with other trips but didn't feel crowded. The lunch was good too, a local restaurant set up for tours. I can't eat gluten and Francisco checked in with the kitchen confirming what I could and couldn't have. There was plenty of food, it was yummy and lots of wine too. We were dropped right back to our hotel after a nice relaxing trip back. Francisco could tell we all just needed to chill on the ride home and he let us get on with it. The whole day was great and we would highly recommend it!

Amazing tour. Incredible, breathtaking views everywhere! the 2 wineries was a great experience. Lunch was OK, if you like rustics and authentic food. Personnaly, the quantity of wines/porto was fine, and delicious. The only "OK" thing was the Douro boat tour, the app installed was poor and not useful at all. Enjoy the view instead.

Yesterday my husband I went on an amazing tour exploring the wineries of the Douro River region. We were so very fortunate to have Brahmin as our guide. He was an absolutely amazing guide, very respectful to all participants and very knowledgeable on the regions history. Our winery visits were fun and interesting and our lunch -Devine!
