What to expect
Key West Museum of Art & History at the Custom House
We will ride by the Key West Art & Historical Society located in the Custom House, an imposing Romanesque structure, now offering two floors of exhibitions that weave together two centuries of history, art, people, and events. Dating from the end of the 19th century, this four-story architectural marvel was originally home to the island’s customs office, postal service, and district courts.
Mel Fisher Maritime Heritage Museum
We will ride by the Mel Fisher Maritime Museum containing an extensive collection of artifacts from 17th-century shipwrecks, a nationally recognized research facility, and a fully operating Conservation and Archaeology lab.
Duval Street
We will ride the full length of Duval Street, just over 1.25 miles, from the Gulf of Mexico to the Atlantic Ocean! The beautiful Bahamian and Spanish-influenced Victorian Mansions fill the southern neighborhood of Key West’s Main Street. The largest one is the Southernmost Mansion, located next to KeyWest’s South Beach. Art galleries, boutiques, and bodegas populate this part of Duval Street. The Cuban flair is everywhere… from Cuban cigars to Cuban coffee shops… In Mid-Duval, we’ll see Willy T’s, Jimmy Buffett’s Original Margaritaville, Key West’s Hard Rock Cafe, Saint Paul’s Episcopal Church, the Oldest Schoolhouse, and the oldest standing house in Key West. Continuing our ride toward the northern tip of Duval Street, we’ll reach the upper blocks containing the most famous bars… The Bull & Whistle, The Garden of Eden, Irish Kevin’s, Rick’s, Dirty Harry’s, Hog’s Breathe Saloon, the Smallest Bar in Key West. And the most famous bar in Key West, Sloppy Joe’s!
Key West Historic Seaport
We will ride through the Historic Seaport, along the harbor walk waterfront, viewing majestic schooners and fun filled catamarans... We'll pass by the oldest eatery on the island (still operational) while enjoying this unique and authentic neighborhood.
Southernmost Point
The Southernmost Point buoy is Key West's most photographed landmark. The large concrete-painted buoy officially locates at the southernmost point in the continental United States. The line is always long at this spot to get your picture taken, but no worries, we’ll be able to get a great shot right in front of the buoy while remaining seated in the pedicab!
Key West Lighthouse and Keeper's Quarters Museum
The present Key West Lighthouse is located across the road from the Hemingway House. It stands on ground about 15 feet above sea level and it is 73 feet tall, placing the light about 88 feet above sea level.
The Ernest Hemingway Home and Museum
The Ernest Hemingway House was the residence of American writer Ernest Hemingway in the 1930s. Due to its association with Hemingway, the property is the most popular attraction in Key West. It is also famous for its large population of so-called Hemingway cats, many of which are polydactyl.
US 1 Mile Marker 0
The Mile Marker 0 of U.S. Route 1 is located at the intersection of Whitehead Street and Fleming Street. It is undeniably the most stolen mile marker in America! We’ll make sure to take your picture there before it disappears again!
Truman Little White House
We will ride through the beautiful and fancy Truman Annex neighborhood, pass by the original Weather Bureau and stop at the Little White House for pictures and/or stretch our legs! A beautiful spot filled with history! Also, we will pass by the PRESIDENTIAL GATES which only open when a President is in town!
The experience can be subject to change due to bad weather or unforseen circumstances. We always endeavour to give you the best possible experience.
